Uff, sorry for being such a late Latif...
Since I can't quote from your thread, I would like to commend you for three of the points you've made...
1) ASR proved his love for Khushi...the temple scene, though a bit OTT (for me), was a total validation. In fact, when he took hold of her dupatta in the last part of that scene, it just reiterated the disconnect between his conscious & subliminal state. He took that dupatta & presumably placed it on her head. What does that say? He is there to protect her...she is his...this was coming full circle from when he put his hand on her head in the hospital, and when he threw La's dupatta on Khushi...
2) Khushi should have spoken up! Yes, she should have...but again, kudos to you for brilliantly explaining the cultural bias on this one...The man is ignorant, leave him alone...you, you should know better...never mind you might have had your reasons, never mind that you are hurt...we blame this on you!
3) The precap: battle lines have been drawn...ASR reiterating the jijaji & the patni part...yep, indeed the "ASR-Shyaam face-off will set the crux and the direction of from now on"...In my opinion, until now, Shyam has every reason to believe that there is a chance this marriage is a sham...other than the stares, ASR has not done anything to convince him that Khushi is his (abandoning your hour old wife in the living room with tears in your own eyes is hardly a mark of happy newlywed)...Now starts the real test: who makes the first move, and in which direction...the pawns are in place...GAME ON!
I look forward to reading your crooners when you do decide to comment...please add me to your PM list...
Anjali...😊
