This is not a film where one actor is meant to overshadow another. The leads carry the film on their shoulders. Without kareena, imran's performance woud fall flat nad without Imran, kareena's performance woudlnt work. They both NEEDED each other, bounce off each other to make this film work.

Imran has more screentime than Kareena and the film is told form his perspective. Its HIS character that goes through change and growth. Bebos' the burst of fresh air that comes in and causes that change.

But they both really played off each other briliantly.

Bebo's presence did make him want to act better, but that's not the only cause of IK being the star of this movie. He somewhere knew he might be over-shadowed by Kareena, so he worked really hard nd that shows. The story is all about Rahul Kapoor. The character, the script; everything was written so amazingly. And i do agree that this character was meant for IK!
He was just AMAZING at that dining table scene ⭐️
So happy for him :D

I have just one question, does it have a sad ending? I have read in many posts and reviews, that it doesn't have the typical bollywood ending, and well I am little confused. Bollywood endings are rather happy even in difficult love stories.

Anyways, I'm asking because I want to watch it with my fiance on Valentines, and I don't want to come out crying on his shoulder😆

If someone can PM me, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to ruin the fun for anyone here😊

Heey, im not giving Kareena the credit for Imran's acting. I am a DIE-HARD Imran fan so i wouldnt ever do that :P But i do agree with @LEO88 that IK himself said he wanted to work harder for this movie because of Bebo's support nd motivation..
And i am SO happy he did. Sorry to all the Bebo fans, but this movie totally belonged to Imran <3

Its a matter of opinion who this film belonged to.

I can conjure up countless reviews calling Kareena the life and soul of the film and saying htat despite having less screentime, she is the soul of the film.

But I dont necesarrily agree with that, becuase i dont think this film belonged to EITHER. It belogned to BOTH.

I respect your opinion, nd i do think the same to a certain extent :)

But what surprised me most was the chemistry between IK nd Bebo. Honestly, i didnt expect their jodi to bring out this much chemistry.. the way Rahul looked at Riana, it was SO real.. And their scene right before the end was so adorable. I hope IK nd Bebo do come together again :)

kareena and dharma i think are Jinxed..at least in recent past

dharma has never had as many flops as it has had with this actress, clearly kareena-dharma are a super jinxed combination!!
