Boys dont cry

After about 12 minutes of showtime fare that was as entertaining as the slow climb of an elevator in an old building😆😆, ...ASR comes face to face with the Lady Di in his life. What happened next was lovely.

I am a sucker for sibling love, and the expressions he had were heart warming. If any, that was a tissue moment for me.

Thank you Lalit and Co👏👏👏, for giving us a hero who even when he is most emotional, does not resort to streams of glycerine and tears and prefers his shaky voice and tear stained eyes to do the talking

And thank you Barun Sobti, it was simply lovely...from the dreamy expression, to the impatient exchange with the Inspector, to the realisation that Di is critically hurt, to the mind numbing feeling once he sees her, to the presence of mind in calling up a hospital, to the emotional breakdown...awesome👏👏👏...I love the fact that you dont act akin to the usual hero gentry around👏

Moving on to the story, ASR sort of stood up to what I have always felt he is, the harsh exterior with the heart of gold. It hit a familiar chord when he goes to meet Di and apologies for every time he did not listen to her.

The thought of loosing a very dear one does is devastating, and the memories it invokes are always the ones when we have not been as good with the dear one...so very realistic!!!

Also loved, ASR's presence of mind when he calls up the hospital, and how he takes ownership of Driver Mohan's need.

Interesting right😳, that in the midst of all the emotional turbulence over his sister...ASR thought it fit to quickly call and provide for his driver😳😳...and we want this man to go the TRP way...NAH!! the presence of mind and control he has is the the most attractive part in him isn't it...in fact in any individual.

So ASR, this is the big day ...10 Feb...lets hope that the years of cool, instinct, intellect and presence of mind come handy...sooner or later...and as soon as episodes or showtimes can permit it.

PS: Is there a hint that ASR will marry Khushi because Anjali wants it ..."Di maine kabhi kuch nahi kiya, jo aap chahti hain"😉

And neither should girls

Khushi, I may have my reservations towards the fact that you hid a critical aspect from the Raizada family...but heck, we are all human and have clay feet.😳

You made a grave mistake, fine ...now own up to it..

Let them know at the earliest opportunity what your motivations were...and how you are as much a victim of Shyam as Anjali is...

...And give it back to Shyam, before everyone and importantly before ASR.

What I loved was despite having barely recovered from the shock of almost losing Anjali and the relief of finding her, he kept his cool and called the driver.

I remember during the Guest house incident, when the guy tells that the building is closed to collapsing, his immediate concern was are all the workers alright?

That was a great touch by the Team that this guy cares for the people who work for him and ALSO even during a crisis, he will remain calm and cool...which is what we are hoping to see today.

No useless, I cant believe you two did this, blah blah..I hope he does not confront Shyam or Khushi, takes his time and then confronts Shyam or Khushi.

Infact I am kinda rooting for the track where Snakewa has no clue that Bitwa is on to him.

Khushi will fight back...for herself, her family and for Arhi together after apologizing to him genuinely. She is a fighter and she won't give up easily.

whats your take on Anjali??...did you realise how in control she was too...

1. SHE took the driver to the hospital...shows gumption in time of need

2. her emotional upheavel...was for Arnav ...and not Shyam...Shyam came in much later in her thoughts...and I sooo welcome that. She seems to be more at easy with of course Arnav and then her core family.

I think if they show Anjali as turninging into a strong character when she faces the truth...that would be a great surprise! and a stand out postcard, for a woman standing up for herself.

I loved loved Anjali yesterday. We knew how strong their bond was especially from Arnav side. Today I felt it from her side too.

When he sees her, she is crying and consoles him saying she is alright, I could feel what was going in her head/heart at that moment:

Who will take care of you when I am gone?

To me it felt, she did not care that she got hurt, went through quite a shock the past few hours - The only fea/concern/care she had was for her Chotay not her hubby - But Arnav.

She is totally out of her comfort zone, but look at what she did.
Was involved in an accident, had the presence of mind to take the driver to the hospital and come back without pressing the panic button.👍🏼

Which tells me when the time comes and she realizes how Shyam has been betraying her, almost married Khushi and the extent to which Arnav has gone just to protect Anjali even if it meant letting go of Khushi -

And interesting take on her thought process...I feel Arnav-Anjali are more like a parent child equation. Each looks out for and provides for the other. They certainly have thier backs covered.

So lets hope she steps up when the Shyam truth is out...there is a great track here...that of a wronged wife. And I hope Daljeet does justice to it.

Nice post. Kudos to Barun, who can make us go weak in our knees with just his moist eyes. Even I feel yesterday's incident could be a turning pt in Anjali's character as well. Lets wait & watch.

I think Daljeet can do absolute justice to it if they go that way. Wife going into pieces, forgiving is all cliche and in this case Shyam DOES NOT deserve any sort of forgiveness.

See you have Arnav -Khushi story on one side and then for the saas bahu crowd, you can have mami finally accepting payal and ofcourse Anjali bouncing back stronger track.

If only they go that route...

I agree.

And, in a special twist I would love to see the male and female lead work together for a change, with a little misunderstand thrown in for good measure, keeping their chemistry in tact, and their hesitation to confess/commit growing weaker by the moment... But not a complete breakdown in their budding relationship, for God's sake!! That's just so predictable and over done.

And, absolutely Angali was marvelous yesterday, and deserves more air time which shows her going from strength to strength. She certainly proved she has it in her... And, she seems to have it in her when it comes to protecting her brother. If her brother is her rock, then she is his lifeline, so the CVs can do a LOT with that relationship, and move the story forward.

If CVs are looking for ideas for the future track.. you gave them a early bonus.. I totally totally agree with you that way Anjali had presence of mind in the time of turmoil and she did the right things and just let things out in a subtle way and not panicking. This lady took a lot of gumption and did the right things. CVs please use this track. We will see a show which was never ever seen in the history of Indian television. 3 great leads. ASR,Khushi and Anjali.
