Sonali Bendre acquitted by Mumbai court

Actress Sonali Bendre, who was charged for hurting the religious sentiments of a certain group of Hindus by appearing on the cover of a magazine wearing a kurta that had Om inscribed on it, was acquitted from the charges today by a court in Mumbai. Incidentally she was booked with the charges way back in 1998.
The magazine editor, photographer and dress designer who also were booked for the same were also acquitted today.
