Good Post, Anu! Liked it! Agreed!
From Diwali to now, there has been various situations between them, where they have learnt so much about each other - Khushi trusting Arnav in difficult situations, Arnav knowing the truth behind the fashion show photoshoot and Arnav is now ready to do anything to make her happy! Both have grown from the hurt, he wants to see her happy and Khushi has started realizing it!
The sangeet episode was the turning point! Khushi missing him and almost admitting to him, that he meant a lot to her and him telling her 'What if I have lost you!' after the ambulance scene are big indications on how they really feel about each other and how they are equally in love with each other!
In fact what stood out to me, was the word 'Shukriya'! When Khushi uttered the word after the almost kiss in Diwali at her place, Arnav lashed at her and said, she did'nt mean a thing! After the sangeet, he walked up to her room and the first thing he asked her was won't you say thanks! and she said "Shukriya!" For me that moment was when they started moving forward past Diwali-hurt! Diwali is forgiven and forgotten between the two!
There has been many beautiful moments since then, which shows their love for each other!
Arnav smiled seeing Khushi wearing the bangles he got and I could see the first reciprocating glimpse of a smile from Khushi. The next moment was the argument about the bangles, where they argued with each other, but in the end realized they were agreeing - i.e. He accepting that he bought the bangles for her and she accepting, that she liked what he bought! It was the first tiny step towards confession!
Another reason, why I think Khushi is in love,- is that she is portrayed as a simplistic person. For her there are two states, the dhak-dhak and non-dhak-dhak! She is in love when she has dhak-dhaks and not otherwise! I am not joking! That's how simplistic Khushi is portrayed here! Why did we think Khushi got so hurt in Diwali, because we believed her dhak-dhaks to be love and hence she got hurt! And now she has gotten in back! So, she's in love! (I do wish for the monologues, but at this point CVs have made her love too simplistic!)
If I see a point of contention and hence restraint between them during this blossoming love phase, it would be the difference in perspective they have - Khushi believes in marraige and feelings! Arnav does not believe in marriage! Arnav is changing here too, but is not 100% clear! But I feel both are equally in love with each other! The beautiful moments of blossoming love may temporarily make them forget their differences, but during confession time, things will definitely come up!
