Really, the whole time that Maanvi was at the Vadhera mansion, she didn't have even one attack
As soon as she gets back to Rishikesh, she gets an attack. Isn't that such convenient timing?

This is what bugs me about the show sometimes. The lack of consistency in the tracks.
Things are conveniently forgotten, or conveniently re-introduced according to current storyline. Things don't move in a consistent line

Maanvi, who was so sick during Jeevika's wedding, and since, miraculously got better on Jeevika's birthday. And now is miraculously sick again because really, there's not much else going on other than the side-track of Inder chachu.

I guess I dont know where Im going with this post. Im just frustrated because I knew something like this would happen.
The CVs hae something to show when sisters are together, but nothing to show when sisters are apart. So as soon and Jeevika would kick Maanvi out, Maanvi's illness would make another appearance

They obviously won't kill off Maanvi, But the sooner they start the illness track, the sooner they can be done with it, but they just show a world of things instead of actually starting the sickness track.

I think this week has been the best week of this show after Jeevika's shaadi!!.. Honestly after the shaadii all cvs were doing were trying to please fans groups instead of focusing on a solid storyline!.. M's illness is basically the biggest track in this show! and i hope cvs do justice to it *I agree cvs are very inconsistent and always do things that seem convenient for that episode only! But since the symptoms are back! am hoping for a more focus track around the illness!! lets hope we aint disapointed:!)

As soon as she gets back to Rishikesh, she gets an attack. Isn't that such convenient timing? OMG! you're telling me!! im absolutely livid!! jaab Virat ke paas thi taab kuch nahin hua...aab ghaar aagayi hai toh bade chakkar aa rahe hai usse...uff!! aur yeh Dr. Manan bhi tapak pada...😕

This is what bugs me about the show sometimes. The lack of consistency in the tracks.
Things are conveniently forgotten, or conveniently re-introduced according to current storyline. Things don't move in a consistent line yaar...kaunsi Indian Drama has any consistency? i've seen shows where in one shot the actors are wearing something...in the next shot (supposed to be same scene) they are wearing something different!! they need to hire people to keep track of these things 😆 chal hum chalte hai 😉

Maanvi, who was so sick during Jeevika's wedding, and since, miraculously got better on Jeevika's birthday. And now is miraculously sick again because really, there's not much else going on other than the side-track of Inder chachu. you're so right!! the show has been pretty much based on the same three or four tracks...one...Jeevika/Manvi rishta (which is being ruined in my opinion at the moment) ...two...Vadera's and their freaking "izzat"...three...Vaderas blaming Manvi for everything and anything that goes wrong w/out thinking...and four (so i guess its four...lol) ...Manvi's illness...aur kuch alag hi nahin dikhate...

I guess I dont know where Im going with this post. Im just frustrated because I knew something like this would happen. me too...

So as soon and Jeevika would kick Maanvi out, Maanvi's illness would make another appearance i do not like what the CV"s have done to Jeevika and Manvi's relationship...or they way they are portraying Jeevika's character...ya ok, your sasural is important...for sure...but...do completely disregard your myaaka? really!? 😡 what pisses me off even more is the fact that the one behind all this...is Bua...who is living in her myaaka only!! what is up with that!? 😡...uske sasural ka kya hua? 🤢

They obviously won't kill off Maanvi, But the sooner they start the illness track, the sooner they can be done with it, but they just show a world of things instead of actually starting the sickness track. agreed!! 😉

I know. I have the same problem with the show, and the cvs. After showing clear symptoms which actually pointed to a serious disease, suddenly there is nothing... But I am glad they have at least started now, and hope they will be more consistent in the future...

LOL great post...and I completely agree...this is the reason I stopped watching the show anyways...there isn't any coherence in what they are showing...only CONVENIENCE as you said...no consistency but whenever it's convenient, they show some issue b/w the sisters, a boatload of tears and conveniently Maanvi falling sick for another few epis...emotional manipulation ke shameless attempts...but there is a threshold for everything...you can only use the "emotional" card to a certain point before the MANIPULATION becomes very obvious and thus fake.

I'm not saying the show isn't inconsistent but when is ANY show consistent all the time? Creative liberties are taken all the time in serials. To be honest, not many days have past since the wedding in the actual show. They have gone by quite slowly! The last time Manvi fell ill was on the journey back home after the wedding. Then she was fine till now. I think what they want to show is how her health deteriorating is connected to Jeevika. She leaves or is angry with Manvi then the latter falls ill. I know she was fine during JV's honeymoon period but I guess from a dramatic point of view, there wasn't much point in showing her symptoms. At the same time, people suffering from cancer can go a long way before actually getting any obvious symptoms.

Honestly, after watching this weeks episode I truly felt that the emotions genuinely connected after a long time and I wouldn't say that if I didn't truly feel it. Anyway, people were complaining that the symptoms haven't appeared in a while...well they are here now ;)

I have a one word answer to this...Gulaal...I rest my case😛

Why do you feel so bad if ppl point out the valid inconsistencies in this show, Reemz? I understand that you have your deep emotional connect to it for whatever reason but the flaws in the show are too glaring to deny...they pull you in easily with one emotional crying rone dhone wala JM track no matter what...but where is the OVERALL story in this show?? NOWHERE. If you watch a show for the emotional JM scenes chaahe unka koi sir pair na ho, fair enough...but the story is being shown inconsistently and for convenience sake it's quite obvious.

P.S. Ofcourse the symptoms have reappeared...for CONVENIENCE sake as the TM very aptly pointed out...they will again disappear conveniently as well when it's time for the couples to "romance" and the creatives are "bored" of throwing in all the emo behna stuff😆

I don't compare Gulaal to any show anyway :P That serial was a masterpiece. Period!

LOL it's not about me feeling bad Nur. The topic maker put her views across which I don't even disagree with and I'm simply putting my opinions across, that's all. We all get attached to characters and shows hence why we are on I-F right? We like to discuss about what connects to us.

I had my own apprehensions before this week and had made them obvious that if this track does not work then I will stop watching. Rona dhona scenes need to come with a reason and I don't think a single emo scene this week has come without logic. If I really did just want to see rona dhona scenes then there are plenty of other shows which show the main lead crying because of God knows what reasons. At the same time, I also have an inkling as to where the story is going and there is a lot more to come. If the writers have worked on a show for almost two years then I'm sure they have some solid storyline. For now its a build up towards Manvi joining Jeevika in the Wadhera house as a permanent resident.
