If you remember a while back Dadaji was telling Swamini to follow her heart and not worry about society's opinions and then you can be true to yourself (this was b4 Jeevika's b'day). That suggests to me the family prolly have no idea that she had a kid. I have a feeling it will be a long-lost child story (which prolly Viren's dad - her elder brother knew about) and that she is so attached to Viren to fill the void of her own lost son...
