The difference is ASR is a mature adult while she is just a teen... most of the teens are defensive... She was angry with him after what transpired in the morning... She is also afraid of her feelings.. she is debating whether her feeling is appropriate... she also knows how much ASR cares about Money and other issues that separate their two worlds... so she is a bit cautious...

Khushi has shown her caring side to Arnav many times... so has he... its just a battle of the egos as to who should confess first...😆

I think Khushi has dismissed Diwali night! She has grown beyond that! Diwali night cannot be given as an excuse for her to decide to go with NK today or her pushing away from Arnav today!

If her pushing away from Arnav was for her - to make him admit his feelings - even then the portrayal can be done very differently - a woman who wants HER man to admit his feelings!

I think CVs are not doing a good job progressing Khushi's character, unlike Arnav where the transition was very apparent!

None to hurt anyone's feelings!

We all know that khushi had clearly noticed the ways arnav was taking care of her...she was the one who realized first that she feels strongly for arnav... and probably that is why she even gave in on diwali, but wat happend..she was heart-broken and was humiliated!!
She is a simple middle-class girl who almost realized that she is in love..an emotion which she considers to be the most wonderful one.. but was humiliated badly for no reason.. so Now it is very difficult for her to accept arnav's new behaviour..it is very difficult to trust his feelings and consistency of his behaviour...for she never knows when arnav can again turn into ASR mode and break her heart again!! Further arnav keeps telling her that he doesn't believe in love..so i think she is being very careful and cautious and really wants to be sure abt his feelings...that is the reason she keeps asking him.."kyon fark padta hai"...coz she wants to propel him to speak the truth first so that she doesn't end up hurt again.
I think that is why CVs are showing us the melting side of Arnav coz of power of love...as he is the one who is scared of falling in love...that is why This Time he should realize first himself coz otherwise if khushi says it first...he might again get defensive and turn away.

p.s I totally love arnav..infact he is the biggest reason that I am in love with the show😳..but it is just my pov about why khushi is acting the way she is.

y does she not understand the difference in his actions n words?????? y does she not ponder over tht???????...plz yaa...diwali thing is finished n done long back...they have moved on...n come a long way...Fine dont trust his LOVE...but give credit and acknowledgement where it is due...her escaping frm today's situation wd NK is so not acceptable...especially wen u see a guy panicking for u..😃

We are left saying she is confused because we have seen so many different feelings from her without an actual admission of where she stands on Arnav. And while I agree she is a teen, she is not 13,. She is an 18 year old with life lessons of a 30 year old. Nani even says she has maturity way beyond her years - kitni samajhdar - right? So the teen thing, IMHO doesn't work for Khushi. She was the sole breadwinner for her family, she was engaged to be married to an already married man, and she has lost her parents and grown up in family where she has had to bear the burden of feeling like a burden forever. She has grown up literally trying to earn her keep. She is not a typical teen.

Show her thinking about him...and not wondering why he behaved that way, why is my dhak dhak back...

They really need to shed more light on Khushi's state of mind too...and progress in her thoughts.

A more appropriate reaction would be for her to ask him about Diwali night...not for answers, but to ask him why after he behaved that way with her that night, is he now showing so much concern? She should clearly ask him what he wants and what is in his mind...and please don't say" Aapko kya farak padhta hai" only...
