fari, you've made SO many valid points, my head is buzzing with thoughts on all of them.. in case i miss out some, will get back..

the SO issue.. i DID have a nostalgic moment there when they aired that promo of aakhri salaam.. not many know, my first love was SO, MJHT.. and followed by many more..i was hooked to it! loved that show! first ever indian tv drama.. but SO shutting down due to lack of trps is debatable.. you know why?

for reasons i do not know! why did it have to shut down? wasn't the channel for youth? wasn't it expected to have only those trps? i remember being the silent reader on mjht forum and the highest trp was 1.4,, which acc to me is pretty good for that kind of a viewership.. thats such a sad story!! we've lost a generation of admirers..

then the trp calculation being unfair.. i 100% agree.. this IS the bad world.. no NRI considerations, no online considerations, and probably the homes being counted include just metro cities in india too..and the we being BIGGER fans than the trp contributers.. the makers will never get to know about her addiction cuz they are concerned about a trp contributer who couldn't care less.. if not for I F..

the 8-10 months shutting down, will channelise and get back 😆

naa reh.. its story was done AND the trps.. its ran for a good enuf time i guess.. actually the point is if a show picks more trps in its initial days then its given tons of chances to g on even if there is a drop... like YRKKH, pratigya etc.. see now navya doesn't fall under that category.. it never did so good to give chances.. and maryada is still on..

ahhh thanks so much for this thread...I actually read your post in the TRPs thread and got directed here and I am glad I read this...so many of my doubts are clear...I will get back with my opinions later..
