To the women in love, a question - Page 16

First of all, thank you for the amazing stories..I loved reading them :)
Its so nice to see all you guys sharing your personal stories here ..And it is nice to see that almost everyone here is commenting about how they have gone through the phases of getting those intense steamy looks but somehow now tis more about the companionship and the bond..And Its actually a great thing! I mean don't get me wrong, we all love our share of steamy intense looks, and those little flirty things that come alone with it but in the end I don't think anyone wants it to last forever..
I am approaching a late 20's phase and I have been in love before and it di'dnt work out and now as i look ahead in my life- I want that open, comfortable vibe more then anything..I mean of course there has to heart pounding steamy moments but seriously after a long day at work, I think I could use a nice cup of coffee and a great conversation more :) So its great to see that all of u guys actually have those and almost gives me hope for the future and where it goes..And I may not be the best person to give advice but to all the single women out there- I have just one suggestion which I am following and actually happy that i am. Go out there, meet people, date around, go for coffee dates and lunches and dinners..I mean don't be stupid of course and be safe! But i guess what i am trying to say is Enjoy young single life rather then sitting around worrying about if you will ever fall in love and meet someone..You will but you don' tknow when but why waste your today?

This is good advice. But I will give you my problem with this. The one's that ask me out, I don't like. What to do? I also get a lot of mixed messages.

and my answer would be this- if he is a good decent guy who you know is reliable in some way then go ahead..I mean go for coffee or something? And if you still come out of it thinking um he is not the one, that's fine!! but at least you are out there meeting ppl..Who knows maybe this person is how you meet the "one" who you will fall in love with or something..Life is soo unpredictable adn everyone deserves a shot!

Mary I do have a small advice for u if u don't mind.From my experiance i can say that no guy is perfect.Darcy's and Thornton's and Arnav's...if u look at them apart from being dashing...they are not perfect guys..and if u look thru their stories the women/girlwomen whom they fell in love with never liked them in the first place.It takes time.Now if those characters are fictional then take my example...My hubby and me are poles apart.We have absolutely no similarities...and the first time I met him I did not like him either.Even after marriage(mine was arranged)...To be frank everytime we go out I used to sit turning my back towards him facing the window and he would be staring straight ahead at the road in front gripping the stearing wheel...That was years back...now everytime we go out one of are hands are interwined most of the time...he knows what music I like and viceversa...u don't even have to say...same goes with food.Though our taste still remains poles apart...there is an understanding,its always the other persons taste u think about first...and also there is that underlying passion.Thats life dear.I'm pretty sure u will find ur guy soon.U never know u might have already fond him...its just the wait for the start button to click...Too long and boring I know.I apologize for that.

Not at all, I loved your advice. I haven't even found that not-perfect guy yet. But I know what you are saying.
