Suggest Ways to Activate the Forum

Well I was thinking if we could have a yearly discussion of CID

See we are doing one round of the episodes on the IF-re-run. We are doing the WUs but somehow except Astonish and me, no one seems really involved.

We could actually have the non-sequence episode as any episode from anywhere and discuss about it. See it becomes a problem to see more than 2 episodes online every week. In fact sometimes we struggle with 2.

Asto and Nanda, can you please think about this?

See... If its an old episode discussion... Then we have an if rerun thread...which people hardly visit... Even if they visit and watch the case they dont post anything...the discussions we started in normal rerun thread will work for few days and again die down soon... Ppl will ignore that thread too...

Episode discussions...happen only when there is overhyped promo.. else... Few people write reviews...and its done...as there is nothong really presen in the case to discuss

AS-DS thread.. though looks attractive... People post some caps...others hit like...and done...

Either its that people are very busy... To be involved in any continious discussion...like i...deeps...pvkd and deba were discussing face off yesterday night...while everyone else was offline...timing problem
If thats not the case then there isnt anything interesting left to discuss

And i thought i wuldnt bring it up in public forum...but...i feel that the discussions have halved here in this forum...as we discuss aditya sir 90%times...while daya sir discussion happens somewhere else

See one purpose behind the IF re-run thread is to create WUs for every episode. it was actually Mallika's idea. I felt it was a good one because that way we will be leaving some record of the wonderful work of our actors...we can open this site after 25 years and show people that there was a serial called CID and these were the episodes.

Yes it's been seen that as such when it comes to discussions and all people try avoiding that much ...
I have one small suggestion .. as far as the great IF thread is concerned .. along with the old one .. let's add a little newer case too in discussion ..
Or rather like Nanda has started the discussion of trail in london similarly in normal rerun thread .. we can have a more recent episode say after 2007 being discussed !! Reason being that there are many people who started watching cid quite late ..
They can involve themselves in the disc. And also many have a problem watching cases on youtube .. or spend time watching then discussing ... if it's a more recent case they tend to remember it better so thus can involve themselves in discussion ...

It's just a suggestion though !! I'm sure other new ideas can be thought of !!
