Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla might have ruled the celluloid in the 1990s, but these silver screen sirens of yesteryears have been busy promoting health instead of films these days.

They came together for the first time to promote healthcare and not film in the national capital on Wednesday.

The city saw Madhuri's dazzling 1,000 watt smile as she made appearance in a new role as a "chief smile officer" with an oral care product. While the Dhak-Dhak girl was promoting oral care, the chirpy and vivacious Juhi was named ambassador of the thyroid awareness initiative.

The ladies might be promoting health awareness, but they both had reasons to celebrate too. While Madhuri was ecstatic about her soon to be unveiled wax statue at London's famous Madame Tussauds museum, Juhi seemed extremely surprised with her Filmfare Awards nomination for her role as Megha in film I Am Megha.

The two actresses did rule the roost in their prime, but as age catches up health is what they have turned to rather gracefully.

Aging? Really? Aging is a word used for people who are in their 60s or 70s not for those who are in their 40s!!!! IndiaToday get better writers!

I agree. By desi film industry standards, these women are 'ancient' now. They are way past the 'aging' phase so that word does not fit here.

Thats true...but they are true beauties minus all the 'help' the current divas receive.

I want pic too, if anyone can find. I have never seen the two ladies together. They have avoided each other worse than a fitness trainer avoiding sweets and carbs!

Anyway, since the article says they came together for the event, I am sure they might have pictures somewhere.

Found something. But it looks like they have converted the text up there into a video.

Yeah, I agree Aging is a loosely used term here.

I would not go for that.

Both Madhuri and Juhi are beautiful and not really aged as persons. But the shallow world of bollywood might consider them aged.

Everybody is "aging" unless they aren't---in which case they're decomposing. The world is not made up of 20-somethings as the norm with everyone else as freaks who need some kind of disclaimer or qualifier before their names.
