Some points 12.1.2012

Liked Rubina and Avinash's acting. Dev has been wary from the beginning regarding this gubbara (demon chacha..he reminds me of a hot air balloon...no substance just self proclamation...if he had substance then he would have started having questions regarding Radhika/kanha...I mean his hand got burned when he touched Radhika/kanha...his hands get burned when he touched a picture of Kanha...a great demon with great powers would have recognized the connection...yes his ego would have made him believe that no one can destroy him but wouldn't a hint of doubt or recognition be there)...then now according to Dev what Radhika/kanha is saying has all been rational thoughts and he is also listening to his inner being when Radhika is concerned...today in dai's room..when Dev overruled gubbara and told everyone to vacate the room and let Radhika/kanha be with dai...from his expressions it seemed that Dev is now getting irritated with people question Radhika.

Now this stealing the soul part...it was made to look that Radhika/kanha left and gubbara came and did his abracadabra on dai...stole her soul and Radhka/kanha did not know and hence she lost the bout..Radhika/kanha told the gubbara later on that dia's devotion is being tested...to me all this is a game of kanha ...it was Radhika/kanha who directed the gubbara to pick on dai otherwise the gubbara was floating around in his own world (well he still is his in own world)...even before the gubbara came on scene Radhika/kanha had started priming dai by reassuring her of her status in Dev's life... each time she protected dai from this gubbara it was done in such a way that every time dai was at crossroads and the choice was dai's to make...and the methods used by Radhika/kanha to stop the demon..the spoon incident...the pooja incident and the idol incident were all to prompt dai to decide...what will she choose?...But the way this track has been executed...It should be made clear to the audience that this is kanha's plan and not that Kanha is loosing, because audience may not accept it... Anyway this gubbara feeds on negative energies...so if the negative enrgy is not there anymore how will this gubbara survive? Now if these negative energies are replaced by positive ones...then there won't be any more place for this gubbara...but the choice of making that decision is on that person. So jealous will be balanced by the thought of giving...jealousy is all about me and the thougt of giving is all about giving to others...but now I am wondering that that although Kanha said that dai's devotion is being tested but is that only reason? I mean is Dev also been tested here (as some have already pointed out)...or is Dev being shown what the people in the family are really about...I am just wondering because dai has given everything to this family but being a human being might have also have insecurity in her regarding her place in Dev's life since he was the orphan whom she brought her up...the entrance of Radhika in Dev's life and her importance in Dev's life shook that balance in her...jealousy had already risen its head but was hidden...but now it is out in the open and dai is herself responsible for this. Now I have always wondered that why does Kanha think of her as one of the great bhakts...wonder will the question will ever be answered...because Radhika/kanha said that no one understand this relationship...which kind of made me think that whether creatives understand this relationship...I hope that this will be cleared and a clear cut explanation is given. But the way dai quickly gave up without a fight does show that she is a weak person and not a strong one...

Now dai has become someone whom every viewer of season 1 knows and is also at shrieking at Radhika/kanha that has even made Padma wonder what on earth is going on...I am guessing no one will tell dai anything because she suffers from depression. I am wondering whether the saas bahu drama will misfire or not...because to the audience Radhika is Kanha and whether people will like a human being shouting at God (I know that dai thinks of her as Radhika and does not know that it is Kanha).

Very true all that you say, Misti. We are creatures of our own making. If we are positive, we attract good in life and vice versa. So today Amma by getting influenced by this gubbara, as you say, has chosen wrong over right. In a way, this also is part of her character, as if you remember, she always accepted what others said.

RPship was important for the family -she was told that and believed; Radhika's assertions about different medicines; Everything others said she more or less believed. So now she believes this so-called asur also.

Misti nice to see you find so many positive points in the episode amma is back and have to see the outcome maybe the TRPs of saas bahu dramas are bringing in this track with the Kanha Asur war.

The only highpoint is Avinash and Rubina acting well liked the name gubbara for VN but they they always burst with a loud sound at the smallest of pricks😆 Also liked the growing up of Dev slowly.

I wonder whether the good old Kashi Maharaj predicted all this and told the old man RP😆 He did have a long tete a tete with him

Angie will answer your post later but just wanted to point out that yashoda did hand over Kanha to Putana who was sent by Kanha's maternal uncle Kansa.😉...wasn't putana liberated at the end because she breast fed Krishna and hence was his mother.Why am I feeling that Yashodamayeeya has become Putana
