Juhi always points that she earned friends (Sky, PB, Sunny) but Sid can proudly say he earned a lot of friends and affection very genuine affection from co-contestants and friends. Sid according to me is someone who won some admirable amount of love, respect and affection. To those who understands him... adores him.
There is Shonali
Shonali and Sid always had a good bond. For Sid, she requested, tweeted and retweeted innumerable times for people and her fans to vote for him even in general interviews she says "vote for sid" hehe and even right after the results were announced she posted that she wished Sid won. The way she speaks highly of Sid shows Sid is truly a wonderful friend and person. And his friends value his friendship. He is a friend worth the affection.
Then there is Mahek
Another true friendship which he earned. She said Sid is a genuinely good boy with a good and clean heart, he supported her and valued her friendship after the apology episode. He has been a great friend to her and truly Mahek can count him as a friend. I feel Mahek would have been really happy if Sid won. When she was evicted the first time she said he deserved to win. A friend worth the support.
Then there is Laxmi
Even though Laxmi was rooting for Amar and Mahek for the finale but she too adores Sid. He was her 3rd fav though Sid and Laxmi were never in same team in BB5 but Laxmi's reactions towards Sid were always positive. She came running to hug him.
There there is Vida
Sid and Vida had differences but even during their stay in BB5 they sorted it out very sweetly. Vida didnt carry out grudges and she said he is a very nice guy but only gets influenced at times. I know for sure they'll continue being friends. They have lot of common friends plus remember they go to the same gym.
Then there is Shakti
Shakti gifted his glasses to Sid when Sid came out! That was so sweet. And I was watching the news channel before BB5. Shakti said Mera Siddharth Jeetega. That speaks the boy managed to touch Shak's heart too. I loved Shaks and Sid combo they were funny and cute.
There there are the special guests
Who always got amazing amount of respect and care from him. Andrew Symonds came out praising Sid and even gave his contact number to him. Andrew would play cricket, share jokes, share advices to him. Sid from a startruck fan turned more into a sweet younger brother for him. Yama spent all his time with Sid mostly and you can see he enjoyed it completely. From their swimming, to making jokes, to discussing and helping him in his love life hehe and he took care of his all Yama's needs. Sid showed what a wonderful host he is. Lets not forget Swami Agnivesh who encouraged Sid to join him as he sees potential in him as a person and future leader. His remarkable respect for elders can be seen in his interactions with Swamiji.

Our Siddy boy didnt lose out much... he won major fame, great recognition as someone who was totally new for most viewers, respect for standing strong when alone, and also genuine affection from people who were co-competitors for the same title.
