Hey Anasuya😊 hi. and no offence taken at all. I just wanted to clarify a few things which I felt. I dont think anyone is targetting Preeto in any way and if right from the start she had just behaved like a friend and not done everything she could to get rajbeer s attention nobody would have felt bad that she is not reciprocating his love. after all its would not have been her concern if he was in love with her right? But that was not the case here. She too fell in love with him, she felt happy whenever he was around, she cared for him deeply the way he cared for her. Her relationship with rajbeer is definately not the same as her friendship with pankaj.
But then suddenly she decides to do whats best for her family. Nothing wrong in that at all. But suppose it was the other way around, that rajbeer after confessing his love had turned around and suddenly proclaimed that they can never be together, that he just wants to be friends, that for him his family is the most important? would we all not have risen up in arms protesting why rajbeer did this?> would we all not have said that what he did was unfair? how can he treat preeto s feelings like this?
That is all what most of us are trying to say here(no offence meant) that love is not a tap that we can switch on and off at will, Once love is there whoever it might be will try to hold onto it. to keep our love by our side.That is all rajbeer is trying to do. help her through her responsibilities and hope that she will change her mind. I feel there is nothing wrong in that.We all would want the person we love to reciprocate especially when they have done so before situations changed..
Her family is very important. For all of us this is true. We are what we are because of our family.that is the one truth. But is it correct to say that our families become less important to us because we are married. ? I dont think so.. In fact though we may now have a second family to think of also , we never forget our responsibilities to our parents and siblings.And the fact remains that while preeto is a smart intelligent girl who is very capable , she definately could not have handled everything on her own without some help from rajbeer.example- when the money was stolen from the wedding, rajbeer helped with his money,and so on. My post is not to make a hero out of rajbeer and find fault with preeto but to try and say that love is a precious gift and there is where there is no need to do everything on your own , there is no shame in sharing responsibility with your partner.
As to most viewers being in their early twenties yes most of them probably are but I am not😉As a married woman with kids I can honestly say that my husband has been my biggest strength and especially where my parents are concerned he has always been a loving son( never in law) anticipating what they have needed and done it for them . so even if a girl has to ask her husband so what. after all before marriage one has to often gets the parents permission to do anything, then if your hubby like rajbeer is willing to share your responsibility happily why not?
