Observations -

* For once, I'm happy the promo was misleading; the vampire thing was simply the theme of that play. Yippie! Didn't stop the writer from shoehorning an aatma dialogue in the lab though.

* My first reaction upon reading the episode title - "yaar, har episode mein toh khooni ka pardafaash hi hota hai. What's new?" 😛 😆 The actual pardafaash scene was predictable but enjoyable, mainly because we had Daya and Abhi sir working together in there (not really a duo scene, but still). The story was okay-ish, the usual "old enmity" thing, though the culprit didn't feel disappointingly predictable and the fact that it occurred due to a misunderstanding was interesting. The direction and editing seemed good except in a few points during the middle portion, though I'd probably blame the structure of the script itself for that. Nice to see that they actually offered an (small) explanation about how the makeup guy could live in such a grand house!

* The forensic scenes made my head ache. As promising as the earlier, proper exchange between ACP sir and Dr. Salunkhe regarding the mysteriously early onset of rigor mortis was, my hopes were quickly dashed in the following scene. What exactly was the point of that hullabaloo over "ye drugs leta tha, par iski maut drugs se nahin hui"? Does every drug addict automatically die of an overdose? Not to mention Dr. Salunkhe's little jig, yet again.

* With the exception of the aforementioned lab scenes, ACP sir was fantastic as usual during the investigation. Abhijeet's performance was undoubtedly a highlight today, 👏 ⭐️ both in leading the crime scene investigation along with ACP sir (especially the penultimate scene) and the well-directed chase sequence early on, though I wish that track had been carried on further to show the guy's capture. Daya sir had disappointingly insufficient screen time until the second half, was great to see him work together with Abhijeet during the penultimate scene. I wish they hadn't portrayed him in an unnecessarily aggressive manner during a certain earlier part though (roughly seizing a guy who didn't seem to be a prime suspect or anything). Dr. Salunkhe, Vivek and Kajal did an appreciable job in their short roles as well.
