DOTW- Is Soman to be blamed?

DOTW

This past week it has been revealed that Soman took some sort of poison while she was pregnant that caused Sunaina to become blind.

What do you think should happen to Soman? Should she be forgiven? Should her many years of care for Sunaina excuse the fact that she made Sunaina blind?

Keep in the mind the following:

-We don't know why she took the poison- Did she want to kill herself or the baby? What do you think?

-Did she take the poison before she knew she was pregnant or late in the pregnancy- they don't make this clear sometimes. But I am pretty sure it was late in her pregnancy.

-Why do you think she took it?

-Does anyone else know about the poison besides the servant?

-Will Sunaina forgive her mom if she finds out?

-Should Soman tell Sunaina the truth?

-Does Soman deserved to be punished now? If yes, how?

-Did Soman make up for everything by bringing Sunaina up so well?

-Does Dev know about his and is this why he is always blaming Soman for everything? Is he right in his stance to blame Soman for all the misery in their lives?

I think that we will only understand Soman fully after we see why she took the poison but i don't think that she should be punished after all these years.

I can't really think of any reason causing her to take the poison but it certainly is something big. I think that maybe she took it to harm the baby maybe in anger when she wasn't thinking straight because if it was late in her pregnancy then she must have thought of her baby.

I think that Soman should tell Sunaina that she is responsible for her blindness and Sunaina should forgive her. Soman does care greatly for Sunaina and I think Sunaina knows this and she should not forget all the years Soman has cared for her, when she finds out this truth.

I don't think that Dev knows that Soman did this but even if he does know I don't think it gives him the right to blame their problems on Soman. I'm really guessing this but I think that maybe Dev was a part of the reason why Soman took the poison in the first place and if this is the case then he has no right at all to blame Soman for anything.

i dont think soman should be blamed at all, becuz it has 2 be some majboori of hers. i think she shud be forgiven. i think she wanted 2 kill herself. im not sure, but one reason cud be that she got pregnant before marriage. i think dev prbably knows. and i think sunaiana is going 2 forgive her becuz maybe she will thinks that it waz all due 2 fate. and she really loves her mom. i dont think soman deserves 2 be punished after so many years. cuz there is no use of punishing her now. sunaina is already blind, and she cant gain her eyesight after her being punished. yea, i think she made it all up. she taught her and brought her up so well. and i think dev is blaming her becuz he knows all this. if she hadnt taken da poison, sunaina wouldnt have been blind. and she would have been married right now. and ya, thats bout it!!!!

I agree with all of you, especially Shezaadi- I too have been wondering if she took the poison because of Dev. If I were married to him I might have killed myself a long time ago too. He is so....I can't find a word. The way he treats Soman and is ready to marry Sunaina in a blink of an eye. 🤢

-Should Soman tell Sunaina the truth? Yea it would be nice if she did then she'd be removed of this burden.

-Does Soman deserved to be punished now? If yes, how? Ummm... i think she's already been punished because she survived and now her daughter is blind.

-Did Soman make up for everything by bringing Sunaina up so well? Yea

-Does Dev know about his and is this why he is always blaming Soman for everything? Is he right in his stance to blame Soman for all the misery in their lives? Not all the misery... but just for Sunaina's blindness.

Yeah he really bugs me at times!! I just hate the way he talks to Soman and holds her responsible for everything!!😡 and the way he says he cares for his daughter and then decides to get her married to that Shamit. Even if sunaina made them think she was happy or wtv he as her father should have showed her the right path and maybe try to talk her out of it or have the sense to see that it's not right to marry his daughter to a man like shamit🤢

I personally feel that Dev might have had a hand in SOman consuming the poison. I mean, come on, look at the way he treats Suman. He holds her responsible for all the bad things that is going on. I think Soman could not take the pressure & thus had consumed poison. I am curious to find out why Suman consumed the poison.

I dont think Soman is to be blamed for what happened. Yea she did take whtever she took late in pregnancy (bio classes lol) and that is why it effected her this way. I think that maybe the reason Dev was yelling was because he said something before which made soman take the poison and then he felt bad but he blames Soman for the outcomes. Sunaina cant be mad or forgive. what happened is meant to hapen so there isnt a big use to crying over sumthing that u have since the day u were born. soman should tell but when the time is rt. no soman doesnt deserve any punishment at all because mental stress caused her to take this step now the reason of stress can be blamed for the outcomes. Soman brought up sunaina really well without caring for the fact that she is blind so its not somans fault. and dev shouldnt even be acting like this to her.
