I'm meant to be revising for my exams....but ideas just came to my mind and i couldn't help it!!
After the engagement…
Bani stood in the moonlight inspecting the beautifully designed mehndhi on her hands…she didn't usually wear it, but mausi had forced her…Bani's expression became thoughtful as she remembered how Mausi had said that the lady's whose mehndhi came out the darkest, it meant that her husband loved her the most…a small smile flickered across her face as she knew that it would never happen…
She was brooding over her marriage and what the relationship meant when a voice cut through her thoughts…
J: Bani!!
Jai strode in, in his usual brisk manner…despite the hassle and tension of the wedding, he seemed relaxed…
J: Bani…where's me night suit?!
With a small smile on her face, Bani slowly held up her hands in answer and Jai could see that the mehndhi was still wet…he walked over to the cupboard and took the night suit out himself…after glancing at Bani again, he made his way to the bathroom to get changed…
Bani watched him silently throughout…transfixed at the small smile playing on his lips and with a faraway look in her eyes…it was only when Jai slammed the bathroom door shut, did she come back to reality…scolding herself for being so silly, she moved to the dressing table and sighed down at her hands…
It would be difficult getting changed and there was no one to help her…dadi, mausi, Anu and Rano had long since gone to sleep…noting that there was no mehndhi on the tips of her thumb and forefinger…Bani starting fumbling slowly with the hook of her necklace…
She cursed under her breath as her hair kept coming in the way…
B: It would have been so much better if I'd tied it up!!
Making up her mind, Bani tried an awkward neck action and tried to sling her hair on to one shoulder…most of it fell on her right shoulder…but there was still some on her back…it would have to do for now…she started on her hook again…
She hadn't made much progress when Jai came out the bathroom…he had changed in to his nightie and was about to move towards the bed when his eyes fell on Bani…amused at her frustrated expression, he watched her with a twinkle in his eye…sighing to himself, Jai made his way towards the seemingly oblivious Bani and reached for the hook…his fingers brushed against Bani's and she felt a shiver go down her spine at his warm touch…looking at his reflection in the mirror, she held her breath as Jai slowly slid the necklace off…
He kept his gaze on her as he started removing her left earring…Bani came in to her senses and hastily turned round to face him…
B: Mr. Walia..!!
J: Ssshhh!!
Jai didn't know what made him do it, but in less than a second, his finger was resting on her lips…Bani's muscles tensed as she stood transfixed…silently watching Jai remove her left earring, her right and then her Bindi…
Throughout all this, Jai stood close to her…and she could feel the colour rise in her cheeks as her heart was beating faster and faster…
Jai noticed all this and was amused at her discomfort…with a naughty smile he slipped his finger under the dori of her blouse and opened it with one effortless movement…
Bani turned round alarmed…
B: Mr. Wa…
But that was as far as she got as she collided in to Jai…he grabbed her waist and their eyes locked as Bani's hands rested on his broad chest…
Unable to control himself…Jai slowly slid his hands down her back as she closed her eyes and melted in his arms…her body was on fire as his gentle lips touched her shoulder…then her neck…and as they were moving to her face…
Ok...better stop there before i go out of control!!😳
Sorry it was a bit long guys....and i hope i didn't bore you too much!! i'm not as good as the others!!
