Heyy All ,
First thing First Kudos to Abhaas Mehta for successfully instilling a feeling of hatred, revulsion towards Shyam !! 👏👏
The episode continued with Khushi realizing that she cannot state the truth to Arnav , yet unable to handle the surging emotions threatening to overwhelm her ...she is quickly followed by a perplexed , curious and worried Arnav ..I loved the changed equation underscored by the fact that Arnav although worried and protective stays within his limits and does not try to touch khushi following up on his resolve to move on ..
The next scene which was quite interesting was the Havan scene when Anjali stops Khushi , tries to get up from the mattress ..the brothers quickly moving in to help her whereas her own Hubby stands like a unfeeling , uncaring pole ..least bothered about her plight and has to be reminded by Mamaji ... Wake Up,Anjie baby..stop smelling the aromatic incense sticks.., clear ur head, wipe ur eyes from all the tears induced by the enveloping smoke from ur ever present pooja and Havan's... The Gentle man is not worth it !!
Anjali starts her Pati is great palaver, watched in compassion, pity and anguish by Khushi who in turn is watched in growing surprise by Arnav at her lack of acknowledgement to Anjali's words ..His hunch getting stronger by the second, his eyes only for her, her reaction or lack of it !! ... Unable to stomach the duplicity of the creep ..Khushi rejects Shyam's offer of a drop ..clearly giving out the message that Shyam's ride has come to an end
But the indefatigable Shyam does not give up so easily.. He has hunted his quarry for long and with patience .. he will not yield so easily.. he makes another attempt at emotionally appealing to khushi's compassion, trying to confuse her into thinking that he did want to confess earlier but was never allowed ..He thinks he has successfully convinced her only to discover Khushi has left.. but he has few more arrows to his string..He looks at his watch, smiles sinisterly ... I wonder what is his next card ?? what move has he planned and why will that not succeed ??..All that can be said is the gamble has not given up the game, he is already plotting his next move and is ready to roll the dice ..
The final scene with Arnav getting progressively anxious, abruptly cuts of La's natter , fishes for information from the so called friend but when he realizes that La as usual is only about herself and has no inkling about Khushi or her distress.. he walks up to Anjali , tries to elicit information from Anjali..when anjali looks surprised by the sudden overt display of consideration of Khushi, ASR kicks in and offers a lame-duck excuse of Engagement preparation ...It is also this moment that he realizes that he is showing an unhealthy interest in Khushi , aware of the fact but is unable to stop himself from wanting to know about Khushi .. he turns quickly at Lavanya, A hurt lavanya who walks off from there .. Lavanya ceases to exist as soon as Anjali informs him that Khushi is not answering the phone... His disquietude soaring like a mercury ..he himself tries to call Khushi, when Anjali gets a call from Payal... So apprehensive is Arnav about Khushi, he does a first for him..he breaks into the convo !! he interrupts Anjali and tells her to enquire about Khushi.. upon querying,, it is known that Khushi has not yet returned..Arnav's gets even more unsettled and calls up Khushi yet again .. The call goes unanswered ... Not caring about the impression he might be giving out, not bothered about the consequences..Arnav finally bursts out unable to control himself any longer.. why isn't Khushi answering the phone ??
Two noteworthy moments..One was the fact that Lavanya suddenly has begun to grow brain and has begun to watch Arnav's reaction and also she has begun to expect more from the relationship and is not content with the Debeers and Dolce's..
Second Anjali perfectly understood that Arnav was worried about Khushi , even before he articulated his question outright .. she softly but firmly asked Payal to call them the moment Khushi comes else.. they ..(read Arnav) will be worried..
Over All an episode that could have seen some better editing to make it sharp and crisp ...but an episode that showed that Shyam will not retreat , he has many a diabolical schemes up his sleeve ...
Second ..Arnav is now letting his guard down and is openly showing his feelings for Khushi ..whilst earlier he always tried to project that he cordially loathed the sight of her..he is now allowing a peep into his inner core which gives out a startlingly different message .. a message which is garbld right now but is being noticed by Lavanya and hopefully by Anjali ..if she keeps her head out of her pooja Thal i.e;
