Heh. Ash doesn't even have an international manager like every Hollywood star does. Did she even move to LA? That is the first step towards becoming a star. She never considered any of that. She was happy to be in India and do Indian movies, but at the same time, be versatile and be open to offers from everywhere else in the world.

If thats the case then I would say she did things half heartedly. She wanted to pretend she was demand she abroad to cover up a bad phase career-wise in Bollywood after the breakup with Salman.

Btw why are we even debating Ash's Hollywood career? What she did or could have done is pure speculation. The point is she tried and failed. But she so called Hollywood outings provided a good coverup and helped her PR keep her in the news in the Indian media without any worthwhile films. Just like her pregnancy keeps her in the news and keeps her a favorite among brand endorsers without any worthwhile films while the Katrinas and Kareenas dont have time to breathe.

And the original topic of some Hollywood stars praising Ash...like Mogli said not a big deal...they come tutored by their PRs to talk about SRK, Big B, Salman, Ash, Akshay, Aamir. Helps them grab some eyeballs and make a good impression on the desi janta.

Versatile meaning: "Able to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities", so yeah she has been versatile. I'm not talking about her versatility as an actor in tackling different genres. I'm talking about her versatility in handling different languages/industries.

If she wanted to pretend she was in demand, she would've bragged about every offer she received. She never did! She was in demand though, considering the offers she got!

When Bipasha Basu says Aishwarya is the only Indian actor who doesn't need an audition to bag a role in Hollywood, she obviously meant something!

And yes there was a lull in her career for a couple of years because she was removed out of all those films, but she reinvented herself. Did Bengali and English movies. And when she cameback to Bollywood she did comeback with a bang!

I don't think her Hollywood career has ended or something. She will continue to do films regardless of what industry it is. Angelina Jolie did 9 or 10 films until she got noticed. But that doesn't mean she 'failed'. It is an ongoing process. You keep on trying.

Whoever said it was? Ash has been praised by several other Hollywood stars who didn't even visit India. But that's not a big deal either. Now if they praise a Kareena or Priyanka, then it is.

VG, my advice to you... is that the 'hardcore salman fans' will NEVER give ash any credit...

i mean, it is quite obvious that out of everyone in bollywood, srk and aish's name are more famous outside of india than the others... and of course, aamir's because of his oscar nominations and entering his movies in the other international festivals...

but debating with 'hardcore salman fans' is a waste of time...! 😛😛

p.s. i am not a 'hardcore ash fan'... actually, forget hardcore, i am not an ash fan... 😛 but yes, people can accuse me as well, for supporting her... 😆😆 and maybe if i am lucky, i will also be accused as the person who sends out the hate pms... LMAO... 😆

though, in my opinion... i do think some people deserve it...! 😛 is that considered proof, i wonder...! 😉 someone needs to report me and have my IP address checked... you never know, after all... anyone who supports ash must have a mutliple ID naa... 😛

Hehe. Thanks for the advice! This board has been anti-Ash for a long time. It's because Ash fans didn't retaliate much during that time. But I think I can handle this/them. I quite enjoy this to be honest. 😛😆
