As far as I know, he got insecure about Aish's commitment towards him... I wonder if she really loved him or was 'only' smitten by his position in the filmindustry and h i s love for her and the possibility to get high attention and a firmer hold in the filmindustry through him. To me, it seemed that rather quickly she switched - feelingwise - from Salman to SRK which finally made Salman think at a love affair between both.

The according to bit makes it sound like it was some he said she said thing. Maybe she was an opportunist but he was and is a C word so it's sickening when these write ups romanticise it as some star crossed love. Screw him and everyone like him. It's a shame she didn't drag him to court.
