Similarities to old Dilip Kumar movie

Just began watching this serial, thanks for the awesome video updates and written updates!! I really love the show and it's currently my favourite drama!

After watching most of the episodes I've noticed that the past life has similarities to the old Dilip Kumar-Vijayantimala movie Madhumati (1958). In that movie Dilip was a guy from the city who came to work for a Thakur and fell in love with an uneducated village girl. The Thakur saw Dilip's drawing of her and decided he wanted her, and got the munim to keep dilip doing the accounts until late while he tried to attack her, which happed in PKDN too. Also later the Thakur lured Vijayantimala to the haveli saying Dilip was injured there and then tried to attack her, and she killed herself to stop him. Dilip then proves the Thakur caused her death before killing himself. I'm not sure if the end of the past bit in PKDN will be the same, but in the movie Dilip and Vijayantimala had been reincarnated and were happily married in their present lives.

Just thought you might want to know, didn't know if anyone had said about this before!

But I'm surprised there was such a movie... and look at the similarities ... its sooo many similarities ... 😃
And ya ... the end is going to be the same here that both Radha n Shyam will be killed but we do not know if they will commit suicide or be killed! 😳

wow no nobody had told this before but i don't think kisan is dat weak that he'll suicide he might be killed by kuwar or what i m thinking he might have already died while coming bak from the city n both kisan n shyama as a soul trying to expose kunwar wat say guys!!!! 😛

I said that the serial is a ditto copy of Dilip Kumar's 'Naya Dour' and yes the story is exact, even in the mandir the friend switched the thaaalies of flowers for the same reason and even flowers were the same 😆 .... only one difference was that when the friend (ballu) realised his mistake, then hero and friend fought together against the kunwar and no one died... they lived happily ever after... but i guess they can do it in next janam.... 😊
and if you thought that the serial is from some shahrukh's movie so let me tell you, almost every shahrukh's movie is already a copy of dilip kumar's movie.... 😆 I bet no one ever told you this before 😆
