I have a feeling that RMJ is geared towards Saasuji audience. They all feel good when they see Mona trying to please Bharti..I bet they all want a bahu like Mona and after watching the show they don't like their bahu very much...they need somebody like Mona, who will be their eternal servant..

I don't see any young Indian girl relate to Mona in any way..I don't think they want to be like Mona..after watching this serial they are terrified in marrying into joint family..

The audience of the show are definitely, middle aged or elderly women and I bet they love Mona and Bharti and dream of bahu like Mona..

April I dont think anyone is interested in watching this show for sasujis...Give audiance lil credit for their intelligence...Instead of blaming CVs of the show, we cant blame the audiance ...Just my 2 cents..

I am not blaming anybody but at the same time wondering which segment of the audience Zee is catering to..who they are keeping in mind when shooting and writing the serial.

Honestly this storyline has nothing to do with the audiance...It has everything to do with someone in RMJ who hates Gujaratis with passion...Just my gutt feeling...I am not saying this because I am gujarati...But so far what I have seen it is portraying Gandhis in the worst way possible...

I agree that they are showing Gujarati in the worst possible way..I don't know much about Gujarati culture, I do know a few Gujarati's but don't know how they live day to day or how their family structure works. Do you know of any serials in which Gujarati's are shown positively..or realistically

I saw Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, I really liked it and I think it was about Gujarati family..the character Maya is very sophisticated, very well dressed nothing like Bharti..
