I give full marks to bajaj for the way he is behaving as a father. Prerna and Anurag don't really think of Bajaj as sneha/prem's father, and he knows that very well and hence he is seen only being nice to sneha-prem and never being strict to them.
But he is seen being strict with his own kids, because they ARE his kids and nobody is going to question him about his behaviour with them. His behaviour with his kids is normal- all normal dads are strict with their young brats!
Had kasak taken to drinks after her break-up with shravan, bajaj would have slapped her and disciplined her to come on the right track.
When sneha took to drinks after her divorce, Bajaj only restricted his involvement to expressing his genuine concern. He didn't slap sneha because he knows that prerna /anurag would have taken objection to him saying "who are you to slap my daughter?"
Hence, he doesn't bother being strict with prerna-anurag's kids. He knows they haven't given him that right.
His behaviour with his own kids is normal.

When tushar marries against bajaj's wish, it becomes a matter of primary concern for bajaj. But he won't care if prem marries indroneel because if he takes objection, prerna, prem and anurag will unite and say "who the hell are you to object?" Bajaj knows this very well.

About bajaj closing the case against prem, I don't think he did it because prerna wanted him to do it. His objection was NEVER to prem. His intention was NEVER to actually send prem behind the bars. He considered prem a part of his family, and never wanted to rejoice by punishing prem. If he really wanted to punish prem, come on- I mean this is Rishabh Bajaj we are talking about. He doesnt need to go to court, he doesnt need to fight a legitimate case, he would just punished prem whichever way he wanted and nobody would have known whodunnit! but he never wanted to actually harm prem. He had said this before, he was hurt by the way Prerna and anurag ganged up together against him. He was hurt by the way prerna and anurag made him feel like an outsider. He told this to anurag in his home. "Ek baar keh kar to dekhte Mr Basu, Main case wapas le leta, ZOOTH bolne ki kya jarurat thi?"

Now, he already knows that prerna's love will always be anurag and his kids, and he has made peace with that. He has no expectations from anybody now, he is happy.

After reading ur this line...I feel to laugh helluva😆U forgot the Namkaran ceremony....the other chipkoos dialogue of Prerna where she CLEARLY clarify Rishabh that he has to keep all UD's responsibility hence HE is Prem's father😆😆Prerna slapped Prem nth times saying 'Apne pita ke saath aise pesh aate hai?'😆😆
