That's exactly what i'm thinking of.. But i wonder if that will happen before the engagement or after it.. Hmm?

i think he will keep on hurting her and try his best not to let her tears affect him ( he will fail terribly of course bcos in the begining wheh he wasn't in love with her her tears affected him then also. and now he is nuts for her. ) lets see!
