Seriously annoyed at Sky-Sid today - Page 2

Though I am on the Sky AT thread.. really today's behaviour was terrible. Putting PM in jail for breaking that rule was justified - but what followed was absolutely disgusting.

Mehak is fully justified this time in jumping into the fight. Both these fellows have out themselves on a pedestal and think they are the greatest people in the world and everything they do is right.

First of all Sky explicitly asked everyone after his stupid speech of getting out everyone's personal grouses and attacking PM again if they were okay with what he said. Of course Mahek was fully justified in speaking then. And in my opinion it was a completely stupid stunt to pull to ask everyone to gang up on PM again. Mehak spoke the absolute correct thing.

And the thing about Mahek interrupting when the captain is speaking...hello? Isnt this stupid Sid jumping in with high decibel hysterical behavior everytime some one is speaking and butting in. If according to him Mehak wasnt justified in speaking he wasnt too.

And at this point seeing these two guys on such a high and ruling the house according to their rules even I, if I was in the house would be forced to speak out and put them in their place. Mehak really handled it well and spoke when no one else has had the guts to take on this guys.

Sid really NEEDS to go and Sky needs to realize that being over confident is only pulling him down. I dont know how other people on his team also (tyhe so called saner ppl like PB) dont see the low level boht os these guys are stooping to. Or maybe PB is playing a clever game and being on his side for now since he is powerful and allowing Sky to self destruct.


And BTW... Mahek kept stopping and keeping quiet but the blabber mouth Sid was just going on and on ... of course you have to keep responding to it then. And Mahek did it more classily than I ever could have done.

I AM AGHAST! This guy has an AT going??? Is it peopled by similarly divorced-from-reality zombies like those on Juhi Parmar's AT, who even find it endearing that she is constantly waxing on national TV?? I don't want to offend you,but WHY would you consciously make such a rash decision? PLEASE tell me SID DOESN'T have one too!! Come join the real world!!!

At the end of the day the guy does have some charm and he has created some fun moments also in the house. And you have to accept he is a strategic player who knows how to play the game well. He can manipulate people easily. Who do you support PB? - which is what most of the "sane" people do? But look how she is so completely swayed by him as is everyone in the house except perhaps Mahek. I do not fully support his actions and even though I liked his antics and the fun part of his personality I have never supported him blindly for everything he does or says - example the Mahek fight in which he was totally wrong. And the dynamics in the house change dramatically everyday - and you end up liking a different person every day. And please notice I said liking not supporting. Please dont try and put people down like this just becasue of one statement. I still like the fun part of him and the strategic playing... and I just hate and have always hated his abusive side. Please dont make sweeping statements.

Shellily I did NOT intend to offend or hurt anyone,least of all you-I like your posts & look for them.I did not mean to put anyone down at all.l sincerely believe that all of us are entitled to our views, eg I cannot see even the slightest smidgen of charm in Sky,but I can accept that some people may find him Prince Charming incarnate-different strokes for different folks,I guess.I agree that the dynamicsof the game?house change on a daily basis-but the basic character of a person should remain constance.In THIS matter he has remained constant-Rude,crude,crass,obnoxious And overbearing.Sorry I stepped on your toes by making sweeping statements( which ones,pls?)

I haven't a clue that "sane" people support PB as you aver.I dont support anyone,I'm just trying to enjoy the show & if anyone consistently bullies others,insults them,abuses them,shouts at them,doesnt let others speak,I do have the right to express my opinion as much as you have to join an AT for this person.But I still apologize if I caused offence to you & other members of this dude's AT

BTW-At the end (or beginning!) of the day I fail to detect ANY charm in the fellow.Maybe it is the generation gap!!!

@znursingh: everyones views are appreciated, as everyones entitled to their view. Understandably you may find it hard to believe, but while Sky has traits displeasing to you, he also displays traits, which show he's funny at times, witty and enjoys a laugh. This is what we appreciate at the AT thread. Just like PM supporters, leaving her bizzare outbursts aside, are able to appreciate her witty side and one-liners (which I also personally appreciate), we too are able to appreciate Sky's good sense of humour whenever he displays it in the house. This doesn't automatically mean we condone when he's wrong.

Sky has many bad points, but despite that I like him, when he's nice even though I am a Mahek fan. But I totally agree, he was super annoying today, this whole politics game has really gotten to him, and his sidekick is the most annoying!

The offending statement was "WHY would you consciously make such a rash decision? Come join the real world!!!" which implied people werent thinking logically while joining the AT thread and that they must be living in an unreal world for doing so. But anyway its fine that you do acknowledge though grudgingly 😊 that ppl are entitled to their opinions. I fully respect the fact that you dont like SKy and I am not one of the mad one track fans who can see no wrong in what their idols do. Its a bit like this - if you support your good friends for bad behavior you are condoning their faults and encouraging their bad behavior instead of trying to get them to better their behavior and way of thinking. So in that way you are doing them more harm than good. So I can be objective in that sense to be able to distinguish between the good and the bad and appreciate the good and depreciate the bad,

Sky is over bullying everyone at the moment but you have to appreciate he is controlling himself and not going on a wild rampage like he went with Mahek the last time or going berserk like Sid is going with Mahek. Anger management and control is a hugely difficult thing - it doesnt happen overnight and you got to work hard on it. You can see the difference between what he was in the Jungle days and how he is now, except for the Mahek first fight slip up. Got to appreciate that effort.

And thank you for appreciating my threads ... maybe even I might have sounded rude and didnt mean to ... you know sometimes when you write it sounds ruder than when you actually say something face to face to a person. The tone of voice changes the meaning, and we dont have that liberty with written words and sometimes they can be misunderstood. SO sorry again if I sounded rude. 😊

NO,no you didnt sound rude. And I didnt mean to sound rude or grudging in my apology-it was,if anything,rueful & heartfelt. Thanks for responding so quickly. And I apologize for my "rash decision" remark that you took umbrage at. I was being facetious rather than sarcastic.As they say...The way to hell is paved with good intentions...that is what happened in my case this time!

I've only recently started posting so perhaps unknowingly gave offense-non was intended. I just used to read & marvel at the time & passion that was displayed by all who were not simply the silent members.I joined in to share my amusement and at times annoyance at the antics of the participants-NOT the members of the forum!
BTW-I STILL don't "get' the ATs,but I do salute the creativity displayed there.I think its fine to be passionate about your favorite star, but a small dose of dispassionate judgement about him/her would be healthy-they too are only humans & prone the usual human frailities! Hence the jocular remark Come join the real world!
