Hi all, just giving an update so we know what we are discussing. I'm watching the video while doing it so I do apologise if any mistakes.. Please feel free to correct me where I may be wrong. Thanks.
Scene 1 ' Gandhi house ' Anukalp and Mona in their bedroom.
Mona is sitting on her bed, Anukalp comes and sits down beside her. He gives her a gift and she looks at it then at him excitedly and surprised. She praises him for bringing her a gift and he says you'll be shocked when you see what it is! She asks him what it is and he tells her to have a look. She hurriedly opens the wrapper and slowly takes the gift out. It's a box of colgate toothpaste. 😆 She tells him she thought he might have brought her something really nice, like a gold or diamond set or something and he tells her this box is even more worth than that cos the more colgate, the more gold! She looks at the box and gets excited thinking the more colgate they buy the more gold they'll get. She says he's very intelligent and stares at the boxes happily.
Scene 2 ' Gandhi house ' in the hall, Mona runs to Kinjal with a plate of ladoos.
Mona gives a ladoo to Kinjal and Kinjal asks is this for me?? Mona says yes and asks her whether she doesn't like it. Kinjal shakes her head and says she likes it a lot but you don't give the whole ladoo in prasad! Mona smiles and says my Ambaaji gives so I give too! She gives Kinjal one more. Sejal comes there and asks Mona what she is doing, if Ketkimasi sees her she'll get very angry. Mona tells her she'll get angry only if she sees her. Her and Kinjal both tell Sejal that Ketkimasi won't know. Kinjal runs off with her ladoos and Mona gives one to Sejal. Ketkimasi comes there calling Mona and says stop working like slow news and be fast, how long is she going to take to give out prasad? Mona says its done and Ketkimasi tells her to leave it and give the plate to Sejal instead. Mona hands the plate to Sejal and starts walking off and Ketkimasi stops her and asks where she's off to and reminds her to take the diya outside.
Scene 3: Ketkimasi tells Mona off for not respecting her husband.
Mona says yes and walks off and is about to slip and fall when Anukalp grabs her. 😳 They both stare at each other and their music plays in the back. Ambaaji looks on and then continues her work. Mona looks at Anukalp and says now she will keep falling over and over by God. 😳 She calls Anukalp jhalla while thanking him for holding her otherwise she would've fallen over cos of her sari. Ketkimasi interrupts and asks what did she just say? She asks what did she just call Anukalp? Mona explains that I was falling over and he saved me so I was thanking him ' she says his name and thanks him one more time. Ketkimasi looks at Ambaaji and says what a shameless girl! She's calling her husband by his name in front of elders. Phui and Hetal are behind Ketkimasi enjoying this. 😡 She warns Mona never to call him by his name again in front of them. Mona shakes her head and says ok. And she tells her not to call him that name she just used even behind us ' she asks what was it? Mona says "jhalla"? Ambaaji looks at her! Ketkimasi says yes that, don't say that, what is that anyway? She looks at Ambaaji and tells her she's the one who has spoilt her, hasn't she taught her anything in the past 1 year? Mona jumps in and says its not Ambaaji's fault, she tells her all the time but she never listens. Ketkimasi says you will tell me whats right and whats wrong? You have no sense of talking, no sense in wearing clothes, just keep roaming around like a kite in the house. Phui and Hetal are happy seeing this and enjoy every moment of Mona getting told off. 😡 Mona says she's not used to walking around in sari ' then stops as she looks on at Ambaaji. Ketkimasi asks what she means and what else does she wear if not sari? Ambaaji says she wears light cotton saris and not these heavy ones. Ketkimasi tells Ambaaji I've noticed that every time I say something to this girl you always come and save her. Hetal makes her mouth motion saying yes. Ambaaji and Mona both look down. She tells Ambaaji not to support her so much. Hetal whispers to Phui and says its good that there's someone who can take off the fold off Ambaaji's eyes. Ketkimasi hears her and turns around and asks why she spoke in the middle? Hetal says she didn't say anything. Ketkimasi tells her off as well saying Ambaaji favours her a lot too so she better be quiet. She turns around and asks Mona if she's just going to stand there, its diwali and is she going leave the diyas till next year? Mona takes a tin from Ambaaji and leaves. Ambaaji signs Anukalp to go with Mona and he mouths yes and leaves. Hetal and Phui laugh while everyone else leaves.
Scene 4: Ketkimasi tells everyone not to do any fireworks.
Mona says all the diyas are done now and what should they do now? Anukalp says its diwali and they will now celebrate it, Mona says she'll go get the fireworks. Ketkimasi tells Kinjal to close all the doors and windows before all the noise starts. She says she doesn't know what kind of way this is to celebrate? She looks at Anukalp and asks why he's looking like that? Doing fireworks is increasing pollution and not just that but kids burn their hands. She continues that she read in the newspaper that kids are made to make these fireworks in factories. She asks whats the need to do fireworks, the Lakshmi pooja was done so nicely. She says on Lakshmi pooja day to do fireworks is like chasing Lakshmi away ' look at how nice the house looks with the diyas. Anukalp sarcastically agrees that yes the house looks very nice. Hetal and Phui behind Ketkimasi making faces. Ketkimasi warns that no one will do fireworks and I'm going to rest. She takes Kinjal and goes off while telling Phui and Hetal too that don't do fireworks. Phui says no no never, its paap. Mona says to Anukalp lets go angrily. 😆
Scene 5: Mona and Anukalp's bedroom.
Mona starts blabbering in the room saying your masi is too much, don't do this, don't do that, don't do fireworks on diwali, she's even worse than the police, gives and order and puts a curfew on all our wishes! Anukalp asks why she's getting so filmi while being angry. Mona sarcastically smiles and says oh? I'm being filmi? Now your masi has to decide what I should call you? Its too much! Anukalp says its only a matter of a few days, we can do fireworks next year. And its just a week ' give this jhalla some respect for that time? I will like it! Mona gets up and asks him oh really? What should I call you then? Eji? Oji? Loji? Sunoji? Sejal's brother or Ambaaji's son?? Just then Sejal comes in with Kinjal and asks Anukalp what is this? Diwali comes only once year, why did masi have to come now, couldn't she have come later? She spoilt the whole diwali! Kinjal says shes never done fireworks. Anukalp and Mona look at her surprised and look as though they feel sorry. She asks whether its really fun? Sejal says look! Mona says we will definitely do fireworks, just cos of masi you wont be deprived of your wishes, you wait and watch. She brings the fireworks and says we have already spent money on them, if we don't use it then we lose the money as well. She says some proverb that I couldn't quite understand. Anukalp says we can't do this, what if Masi finds out? Mona says how will she know? She smiles and says what if she never finds out? She says Masi is very tired and has gone to sleep! Kinjal agrees and Mona says there you go, so whats the problem? Anukalp says that's fine but ask Ambaaji at least. Sejal says then we'll be done for it, she'll never agree. Mona agrees and says don't involve Ambaaji ' if by chance she finds out we'll all get told off anyway. Atleast if she doesn't know she won't get told off. We get told off everyday anyway, so what difference will one more time make? 😆 Sejal agrees saying yes, everyday we get told off without doing anything, today we can get told off for actually doing something. Mona brings Karan while Sejal, Anukalp and Kinjal look at the fireworks. Mona tells Karan that we'll go and do the fireworks somewhere in the corner and call mum and Sweety as well. Karan says if we get caught we'll get into trouble. Anukalp agrees with Karan but Mona tells them nothing will happen. She tells them to take the fireworks and she'll go check on Ketkimasi.
Scene 6: Ketkimasi in her room doing her jaap.
Ketkimasi is doing her jaap on the bed, Mona comes and clears her throat. Ketkimasi opens her eyes and looks at Mona and asks what is it? Don't you know that you shouldn't disturb someone when they're doing their mala jaap? Mona lovingly says she just came to check if she needed something? Ketkimasi says just a little peace. 😆 And some rest. Will I get it? Mona shakes her head and says yes and starts going away. Ketkimasi stops her says listen, tell Ambaaji I'm calling her and close the door when you go, slowly. I don't like noise. Mona shakes her head yes and goes. She closes the door and looks at masi angrily.
Scene 7: Outside.
Mona calls everyone out and tell them to go quietly. Anukalp praises Mona and she says Ketkimasi is still awake and she's calling Ambaaji. She tells him to go and she'll go call Ambaaji.
Scene 8: Ambaaji's room
Ambaaji comes in and throws something on the bed. She's saying she got saved today narrowly! I thought today our lies will get caught. Mona comes and tells Ambaaji that Masi is calling her. Ambaaji says yeah Im coming. Mona starts going and Ambaaji stops her and says listen, stand here. She tells Mona that she told her to ask her mom and dad not to come for a few days, how can she be so careless? Mona explains that she did tell Sweety but I don't know how they came. Ambaaji says and what is this? Why did you call Anukalp jhalla in front of everyone? I told you not to make fun of your husband in front of everyone. When will you understand? We are walking on thin air, any small mistake and we're done for. Mona shake her head. Ambaaji says if you make anymore mistakes I will not save you, understand? Mona sadly shakes her head and Ambaaji says she always says yes and then does the opposite! Kalpesh motions her to calm down. Ambaaji turns and asks Mona if she closed the doors and windows, masi doesn't like the noise of fireworks at all. Mona nods and Ambaaji asks her to go. Mona stumbles on her sari while leaving. 😆
Scene 9: Mona walking in the hall.
Mona telling herself that Ambaaji shouldn't know anything about the fireworks or else she'll be done for. She sees Kinjal walking back in with the fireworks and tell her to go outside. Kinjal says no saying she's very scared, if Ketkimasi finds out then she'll get smacked. Mona asks if she's crazy, we have to do all the fireworks in one hour and we'll be done. No one will know anything, lets go.
Scene 10: Ambaaji is looking for Anukalp.
Ambaaji comes in Mona's room looking for Anukalp but doesn't find him there and wonders where both of them have gone without saying anything. She wonders whether Mona has gone to fireworks and if Ketkiben finds out' She runs out. She opens the main door and checks outside but doesn't find anyone there. Ambaaji wonders where Mona has taken Kinjal.
Scene 11: Everyone outside doing fireworks.
Phui and Hetal are playing around with little fireworks and sparklers. Phui says to Hetal that it feels great to go against the old woman, since she's come she's bossing us around like its her own house. Hetal agrees. Karan, Anukalp, Sejal, Mona and Kinjal have come out too and about to do fireworks. Mona is on the phone calling someone ' probably calling Sweety and her mother. Hetal sees the gang and gets scared and throws her sparklers away, she takes Phui away from there. Phui asks what happened and Hetal shows her Mona and everyone else. Phui smiles and grabs Hetal's hand. They come to where everyone else is. Phui comes and taunts Mona she's celebrating diwali very nicely? Karan and Anukalp look scared. Mona says to Phui that we were looking for you where did you go? Phui says Ketkiben said not to do fireworks, she didn't say we cant see. She says we just came to see how its all done, just strolling' by the way, what are you all doing here? Mona admits that they're doing fireworks and they should join them, they're having lots of fun. Hetal says no Phui, Masi! Mona says nothing will happen just do it. Phui agrees and lights the fireworks. Mona looks on as her mum, Sweety and Parmeet come. Karan says everyone is here, lets wish them diwali. They all go. Mona hugs her mum and Vimmi is a little angry and looks away. Karan hugs Sweety and wishes her. Sweety wishes Hetal and Hetal acknowledges. Karan wishes Parmeet and puts his hand forward, Parmeet shakes his hand and they hesistantly hug. Sweety says sorry to Anukalp for this morning regarding the Bedis not coming to Gandhis. Mona looks at her mum and then looks down. Anukap says that's ok, if these dramas don't happen, theres no joy in festivities. Sejal urges everyone to forget and continue with the fireworks. Mona pulls her mum back and asks whether she is angry? Vimmi motions her hand and says I feel like giving you one with my back hand and reminding you that I am your mother and you are my real daughter. Mona says oh mum I was only saying that! Vimmi asks who that old woman is who didn't let us enter our daughter's home? She then asks why they're doing fireworks in their own area like thieves and why are all the doors and windows in her house closed? Mona irritatedly says her mother is asking so many questions, she tells her not to worry so much, she'll tell her everything later. Vimmi can't hear so asks what she is saying and Mona says again she'll tell her later but Vimmi still can't hear. Mona says she doesn't have time right now she wants to do fireworks and walks off.
Scene 12: Ambaaji wondering where everyone is.
Ambaaji is in the house wondering where Kinjal is and saying to herself if she goes to get her and Ketkiben comes out then everyone will be in trouble. She says Mona doesn't stop one problem and creates another one. She tells her so much but she remains childish! Now how should she go to Ketkiben? Just then she hears Ketkimasi calling for Kinjal to bring water as she's thirsty. Ambaaji screams she'll bring it and rushes to get some water and takes it to Ketkimasi.
Scene 13: Ketkimasi and Ambaaji have their little talk.
Ketkimasi in her room wondering where Kinjal is and calls out again where Kinjal is and what she is doing. Ambaaji comes with water into Ketkimasi's room and masi asks her why she came and where is Kinjal. Ambaaji says Kinjal was coming but she was coming up anyway so she thought she'll bring the water. Ketkimasi complains that about the weather and how her throat is dry. Ambaaji asks if she called her? Ketkimasi smiles and asks her sit as she wants to talk to her. She says we've talked about everything and I know all about you, right? She smiles again and then with a serious face says but one thing is left. Ambaaji looks down scared and hesistant. Ketkimasi notices Ambaaji getting uncomfortable and looks concerned.
Precap - 8th Nov
Ketkimasi asks where everyone is. Hetal says she doesn't know. Just then they hear a loud noise. Hetal closes her ears and screeches. Ketkimasi asks what happened and comes near a window. She sees Mona and Kinjal playing with sparklers outside and gets surprised. Phui and Hetal share a smile. Ambaaji looks scared as Ketkimasi looks on at Mona.
