Tide & Time waits for no man is what they say, It definitely did not wait for the Go-Getter' Arnav Singh Razada .. when Answers were Sought he kept mum, When he wanted to give answer's, Permission was not given !! ..This was an episode tailor made to evoke sympathy for Khushi , the fact that ASR did manage to sneak in his own share of Sympathy says much about Barun's caliber ..
Reality !! That Bitter Reality began to sink in as last of the Guests began to leave ... it certainly Bit ASR when Khushi studiously ignored him ... The first wave of red hot rage has simmered Down, He is slowly becoming aware of the repercussions of his impulsive announcement...He is accepting wishes from the near & Dear's , his eyes never leaving Khushi's tear stained face, where there was gloating earlier, there is regret now , Unable to bear the sight any longer, Khushi makes a dash for the exit, ASR's anxious eyes following her, getting tensed when she disappears from his sight...Khushi runs to the door to be out of ASR's life forever only for her escape route to be blocked by innocent LA ...buckling under La's goodfaith, a distraught, heartbroken Khushi puts on her Smiley Mask , becomes the effervescent, vivacious, Chirpy Khushi Kumari Gupta again, A change which is being watched in silent bemusement by ASR...A ASR who is not fooled by the Mask , he watches her antics quietly, his eyes seeking to get to the real Khushi..
One particular scene I really liked here when Maami fires her Salvo, it does not hit Khushi but hits Arnav !! Also the way Khushi freezes in front of Arnav with the sweet plate , she has fooled everyone but when she comes before Arnav, her mask slips..Arnav for his part has cooled down completely , is slightly contrite [not going overboard with it though] and Oh So desperately wants ALONE moment with Khushi .A jumpy Khushi gets even more jumpier when Arnav realizes that Khushi prepared an exclusive sugar free sweet just for him ..It was perhaps at this moment that Arnav did realize the extent of Khushi's concern,care and regards for him [ she loves him he already knows ] .. The expression On Arnav's face when Khushi leaves without even looking at him, declining their help..it was that of a man who just had a glorious vision of paradise , only for it to be closed on his face !!
My second favorite scene is the car one [ & Unofficially Yipppeee The Safari is Back, this suits Arnav's persona more than the car ] ..Khushi might have rejected to be escorted in the Car , it doesn't mean ASR has accepted it.. ASR comes haring down following the same path as that of Khushi..He finds her on the streets...I Just loved the exchange of looks between Arnav and Khushi here..The YOU !! Why are u here look from Khushi to be countered by Arnav's grim, where else will I go, How can I desert you look .. He literally orders her into the jeep .. here follows a new art of conversation, a conversation which runs on parallel track.. Khushi has slipped on her Smiley mask again, while Arnav has denuded himself ..Arnav lets Khushi ramble on about his engagement , her happiness with odd sarcastic interjections now and then .Finally the Lucknow express steams to a halt ... Arnav seizes this moment and broaches the subject that was of paramount importance to Khushi a while ago..An issue which is being brushed away as no-sequitir now...A overly enthusiastic Khushi is going on and on about Arnav & la, Arnav again brings up the 'Anklet ' .. A deaf Khushi goes on her spiel of how happy she is for Arnav and La and is going Blah.,Blah, Blah ..Arnav halts the car and tells Khushi to get out !! Khushi feels hurt by the seeming rudeness of Arnav , Khushi slowly checks her surroundings, realizing that So busy was she weaving the web of deception hiding her broken heart , So busy was she in displaying her happiness, So intent was she on keeping a smile plastered on the face that she did not even know her destination has been reached ..
Khushi gets out only for her pallu to be caught inside the jeep .. This is the final straw !.. She can no longer pretend , the mask slips away exposing the raw, aching , hurting, broken Khushi ..As Khushi tugs to free herself , Arnav watches Khushi's naked face, A face devoid of pretense, A face reflecting her love for him, A face reflecting her despair, her anguish at the news of his impending engagement with another girl ...He had come in search of answers.. and he got one !!

He is the only guy I know who can make ' SHUT UP ' sound like a term of endearment !!đ
