I agree. I really don't understand why BM still upholds and follows all the rituals of a married woman. The thing is, as much as I hate BP he did make a valid point: for whom does she wear that sindoor? She hasn't got a leg to stand on if she wears the sindoor, mangalsutra, keeps the karvachoot etc. How can you do all of that and then say "but you're not my husband, I have no relation to you, you're just an unwanted guest". There's no logic to it whatsoever. Either stop doing all of that and divorce him, or admit that you do still see him as your husband, and you do still give him the respect a Hindu wife gives her husband by upholding all those rituals.

BM is supposed to be a strong independent yet traditional, sanskari woman. But here she is not living up to any one of those labels. I mean, I'm not Hindu so please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't doing all of that and then refusing to acknowledge your husband wrong on a religious level as well? She needs to stand up and say no your not my husband, you haven't fulfilled any of the duties of a husband, yet you have the nerve to come back in to my life some 20/30 years later and demand the respect a wife gives to her husband, and children give to their father. That too only because your preferred family has ditched you. I'm not some commodity that can be put on reserve until you need her. Yes I still wear the sindoor, that's my mistake but now I want to rectify it and end this farce of a marriage for good - legally.

However I have a feeling that BP is going to be forgiven. There's a reason why she kept putting on the sindoor, and it's because she does want him back and she will take him back. Suffice to say I will have lost a lot of my respect for BM and the show if that happens.
