It is still following p & p? What do you all think?

If the story line was based on P & P what would happen next?

In the story of P & P this is the point where Lizzy and Darcy both start feeling for each other, but becuse of some family drama with Lizzy's sister they get seperated and SHE dosent know for sure if he STILL loves her, and HE has no idea how she really feels about him...

He was hoping that 2nd time lucky, if he proposed to her this time, she will say yes, (he started sensing she had started to feel something for him).. and I think she would have said yes if he asked. But that didnt happen because Lydia's elopment and all the Wickham darma (Read Shyam)!!

It took those two another 8 months to get together!

So lets HOPE that this is NOT the same on IPKKND!

he'll keep hurting himself and Khushi will manage to keep herself together in a way! they'll both find out the truth about shyam from various sources like Elizabeth found bout Mr.Darcy's soft nature when she visited his house and learned from the governess there! the whole plot isn't P & P, mr.Darcy never promised to marry someone else!

I am a HUGE fan of P&P and have been follwoing this serial as it struck a chord with me . Mr. Darcy remains to be my favourite fictional charecter and so far ARnav seemed to follow his tracks. Today he took a turn in a different direction so cannot say if that is still true. I was hoping he would continue this path and save Lizzy from the hands of Wickham.

But one thing continues the P&P path is that their love will mature gradually , privately and both will come out strong in the end.

yes, agree with you. Mr. darcy was supposed to engage a girl (dont rem her name. That girl's mother/aunt was very rich and she wanted Darcy to marry her niece/daughter) When this aunt found out about Darcy's interest in Elizabeth, aunt came to talk to Lizzy, Lizzy said she will not promise anything to the aunt related to engagement with Darcy and that made Darcy realize that Lizzy still has feeling for him.

I think in case of Arnav/Kushi, probably Arnav's mami will play that role. She might later go meet Khushi/Payal n blame them for Arnav/Akash having any affection for them. (she did that already to Payal) Payal took a step back but Khushi will probably behave like Lizzy and that will make Arnav realize that Khushi's feeling are still the same. Lot of drama has to happen before this happens though.

Well IPKKND is more 21st century Indian drama. Darcy was snooty but never mean and never ever hurt Lizzie. So different in that sense. Also, he did not have emotional baggage about being in love. He just had not met the right one, whose wit, beauty and intelligence had caught his eye. At this point I do not know even if it resembles P & P. It is taking its own course. There are lots of similarities. Darcy, never was engaged to any other woman, so this is different. Darcy verbalises his love for Lizzie, and proposes to her in a upper crusty I am going against all my beliefs (because of the financial difference in their status)...where she rips his proposal up nicely (my favourite part). They are seperated for over a 6 months and bump into each other a few times..so that is where we might be and he cannot get her out of his mind. Arnav is battling an acknowledgement of his love for her within himself...this needs divine intervention.
