So, i get that many of you are pretty much disappointed that Arnav didn't hug Khushi back, hugged La, and we saw quite a bit of that psycho right? I for one, am very happy with the epi..minus the Shyam bit ofcourse, but they had to be there!
Anyone else here glad that he didn't hug her back? The scenes at RM where Arnav feels guilty for not being able to console her were brilliantly portrayed by Barun, and i have to say great thinking by the CVs to show such scenes. His battle with himself, how he says that all she wanted him to do was to reassure her that everything would be alright and he couldn't even do that much? And yet again it was shown how he is affected by her tears.
I even liked the Arnav-La hug.. from Arnav's side, it almost seemed as if he personally needed some kind of support.. he didn't hug La coz they met after ages or the fact that shes his girlfriend.. he remembers Khushi, feels guilty yet again for not being able to console her, his anger at himself rising, and he hugs La back, to make himself feel better, to try and distract himself from the guilt that was arousing inside him, but he couldn't.. because all he could think about was Khushi and her tears, and how he should have consoled her.. which is why he tells La, sab theek ho jayega.
Then the Arnav-La-Anjali scene near the poolside.. making him feel even more guilty and angrier at himself for not being able to help ease her pain.. that was all she asked him for, nothing more but he couldn't even give her that. And the worse bit was that he had been through the same thing, looking at the lifeless bodies of his parents, needing someone to tell him that everything will be ok so he knows exactly how she feels.
The Shyam scene at the end, I didn't like. It was too villanish and typical..if you know what I mean. I'm sure Buaji didn't hear anything.. and will now try all the more harder to get Khushi to agree to marry Shyam. As I wrote elsewhere y'day, I do believe that she will refuse to get married to him, but may hesitantly agree think that that's what her Bauji wants. Hopefully that doesn't happen, because it would be that much easier for Shyam to turn the tables on Khushi when his truth comes out in the open.
And now, saving the best for the last.. Khushi Kumari Gupta! Its hard for me to write this as I just don't know what to say of that girl, esp in yesterdays episode. And although I loved Arnav's inner conflict and guilt, Khushi was the star! How she realises that she's trying to find comfort in and hugging him, then wondering why she even did it. Her tears as she looks at Arnav, and then runs back to where her family is sitting
Then comes the scene where Khushi is trying to give strength to her family and her bauji, reassuring them that he will be ok, as if trying to convince herself that she will be ok, because even though she is not his biological daughter, she will be most affected by his death. Shes been through the death of her real parents, and as she told Arnav, she doesn't have the strength to lose her bauji too.
Inspite of her heart being shattered into pieces from inside, i LOVE how she managed to maintain herself in front of Arnav and Anjali when she came to get her salary. Somehow managing to keep the tears, threatening to fall from her eyes, from falling as she gets disappointed by the fact that she got rs 3000 less, for each rupee was important to her. Keeping her composure and dignity, as she left from RM, before she would break down. I honestly don't know how she did it, not many stronger people out there in the world, who can keep themselves from breaking from the outside.
Sanaya, as always was brilliant! I think this was one of her best performances in IPK.. the entire episode, her expressions.. her tears, her eyes! I could keep the voice on mute and yet, i would choke up seeing her. She has always, always excelled in these emotional scenes, and she was phenominal y'day! Her expressions as she looks at Arnav after realising that she hugged him, how she tries to be cheerful for her family, and then..the best of all at RM, how she manages to hold herself from breaking down.. it was beautifully portrayed by San!
As for the precap, it was dreamyyyđ but i'm not doing any speculation business..the CVs have a way with surprising us :P
P.S.- don't know if i made any sense..just wrote down what i felt abt the epi..so jhoota's welcome
