Not exactly shocking. I was hoping CV's was skipping karva chauth. I guess we are going treated to scenes where Hetal whines to Fui that she is so hungry. I guess my mute button is going to get a good exercise.

agreed. If she does not believe in it then she could just say sorry but this ritual is not in my religion and i dont want to do it just for the show because i dont beleive in it. What the hell is the whole karan will get mad at me? seriously hetal no he wouldn't. If she cant stay hungry then just say i cant be hungry all day long but i appreciate the fact that you thought about me and brought be the surgi. No will tape her mouth and force her to fast.

It matters not if she believe in it or not. She knows that she was getting into this family and what their belief was. I think she should have accepted it and fast because she will be doing it for her husband long life and happiness. Belief or not the bottom line is she loves her husband and should be able to do it for his well being because , its his belief

It is not good to force a religion or rituals on anybody if they dont believe in it.I am Muslim but i dont believe in wearing a head scarf so i dont wear it because there is no point in doing it for show. It will only make a difference if i do it from heart. So if somebody does not believe in karva chaut really there is no point in doing it but there is no need to be so rude about it. in fact she could have just taken the surgi (it contained food and stuff i believe) it was everything she could use and even go there and spend the day with vimmy and sweety just not do the fast and ritual part. That way she would be supporting her saas and not doing something that she did not believe in either. But that is of course if she didn't believe in it, i think she just said no to insult vimmy.

If i had behaved like that with my saas or any elder person in front of my mom, she probably wouldnt let a hair on my head left 😆

I agree with you. she showed no respect for vimmy nor vimmy's religion/belief. I am muslim also and dont belief in wearing the scarf all the time but I do wear it when i go to masjid etc. I guess karan and hetal are hindus together and they should have at least some things common between them. I think its only certain traditions they follow as punjabi and gujarati. I stand corrected.
