Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait on the other story of mine, but I felt like writing something comedic so I wrote an ArHi oneshot

"Arnav, please!" Khushi whined like a child, feeling distraught and unsettled. "It's not even hard!"
Mumbling a few swear words under his breath, Arnav turned around on the other side of the bed,
"Khushi, go to sleep! Stop bugging me at 2:00 in the morning!"
"But, but, there's no jalebi in the house! You have to go get some because I don't have the energy to make them myself!"
Arnav dragged himself into a sitting position and shouted, "What? What will really happen if you don't have jalebi for one night? NOTHING! Actually, you might even have a healthier body! Now go to sleep or stop bugging me! I've been working late every night, and today is the only day I can actually get some rest! Thanks to you, it looks like I've lost half of it already." He continued to ramble as Khushi's eyes got moist and she sprinted out of the room, shutting the door behind her before yelling, "You're the worst husband ever!"
Rolling his eyes at her melodramatic manner, his head fell back down on the pillow. A tiny ounce of guilt settled in the pit of his stomach but the temptation of his bed overtook it and he let himself get back to sleep. However, the moment of joy didn't last as he heard familiar footsteps approaching his doorway.
"Chhote! Is Khushi telling the truth? You're ignoring her cravings?" Anjali demanded, opening the doorway and freely marching to the bed. "How could you? How could you have the heart to ignore your poor, pregnant wife?"
An innocent faced Khushi pouted next to his sister, and he groaned, covering his face with his pillow. It had only been six months since they were married, yet Khushi had all of his family members wrapped around her fingers. Every time he said something mean would result in a lecture from Anjali or Nani, and once, even Mami. Yes, Mami! How could his own aunt come to adore Khushi more than him?
"Seriously Di? You came marching over like milliseconds after Khushi left! Did you two learn some secret mind reading technique that you're not telling me about? Anyway, I wasn't ignoring her cravings. I clearly told her that they were unreasonable; that's not ignoring someone," Arnav replied wittily, applauding himself for his intelligence before turning around on the bed so his back was facing them.
"Oh don't you get all impertinent on me now Chhote," Anjali scolded, grabbing his ear and making him wince. "She told me every mean word you uttered! Now get up and make some jalebi before I spank you!"
Khushi stifled a giggle at this and shut her mouth as Arnav shot her a glare and dragged himself up. "What are you laughing at?"
"Nothing," Khushi stammered, holding back a laugh that she had gotten her way once again. Oh boy, it felt wonderful to win over Arnav Singh Raizada!
And that was how Arnav found himself frying, or trying to fry, jalebis at 2:15 AM in the Raizada mansion kitchen. Anjali had refused to let him go out and just buy some, and he was having a hard time making the sweet despite how many times he had witnessed his wife making them. Unfortunately, Khushi was having much too much fun to let him go so easily and found something to complain about each and every one of them.
"This one doesn't have enough sugary syrup! And look at the shape! What is that, a deflated balloon?" Khushi whined, looking at the tenth jalebi her husband had attempted to make. The first one was not baked enough. The second one was too burnt. The third had too much sugar. The fourth was not shaped in a perfect circle, and so on.
"Khushi Kumari Gupta, for heaven's sake!" Arnav exclaimed, trying not to blow up, "If it doesn't have enough stinking syrup, put more on it! If you don't eat this one, I'll shove it into your mouth!"
"Hey, I'm not a Gupt -" Khushi began but abruptly stopped as she saw her husband's death glare. "Okay, I'll just eat it then," she whimpered. She got a fresh plate from the cupboard above the sink and put the lone jalebi on it. She gobbled it down in less than two seconds and shot him another pleading look, "I want more."
Arnav groaned and began frying another one, muttering something about how there were no 'pleases' and 'thank yous' in the house. He did not notice how Khushi had walked up to him and put her arms around his waist from the back.
"If you think I've forgiven you already, you're wrong," he remarked sarcastically, though he mellowed down a tad bit and continued to load her plate.
"I know you will eventually," Khushi replied in an extra sugary voice, resting her head against Arnav's back. She let go after a few seconds and took hold of his hand, guiding him to make a perfectly circle shaped jalebi. "See, it's not hard!" Khushi exclaimed, placing it onto her plate. She turned around to help him make another one but instead found Arnav's arms slide around her waist and his lips on hers. She gasped against him in shock before relaxing in his hold and letting her arms slide slightly under his shirt.
"Ehem," Anjali cleared her throat a few minutes later uncomfortably, though she had a teasing look on her face.
Khushi jumped at the noise and hit her head hard against Arnav's nose, who was now clutching his nose painfully. "Di!" they both yelled in unison, quite embarrassed by her appearance.
"What?" she asked innocently, "I just came to check if Chhote was treating your cravings properly, but I guess you were craving something else,'" She walked away giggling to herself as Khushi shot a glare at her husband.
"I told you; I told you!" Khushi groaned, grabbing the plate of jalebis and walking back towards their bedroom. "You never listen to me!" Arnav easily walked past the pregnant, slow Khushi and retorted, "You started it!"
"Start it? How did I start it?" Khushi asked incredulously, trying to catch up to her husband to no avail. "Wait up!" she stopped and clutched her stomach in pain. Arnav immediately stopped at her shout and ran back to her with a concerned expression.
"Khushi, are you okay? What's wrong?!" he panicked, not knowing in the slightest what to do when a pregnant woman was having pains. "Should I get Di? You shouldn't have tried to catch up to me!"
"Nothing's wrong," Khushi smiled mischeviously. "I just needed you to stop walking so fast because I got a brilliant idea!"
"Oh God, do I want to know?"
"I'm telling you whether you want to or not, duh," Khushi remarked, rolling her eyes. "I thought of a perfect name that would fit a boy or a girl!"
"Khushi, the baby's like a month old,'" Arnav muttered. However, noticing the gleaming glint in his wife's eyes, he continued, "Fine, tell me."
"Jalebi!" Khushi exclaimed, her eyes shining brightly and her face beaming with a happiness he had never seen before.
"Jalebi what?" Arnav asked dumbly, not catching on, "You're holding them."
"No, no, that's the name! Jalebi! Isn't it cute?"
He stared at her incredulously before shaking his head and moving on, "You've got to be kidding." Arnav walked a bit slower so Khushi could walk with him but he regretted the decision seconds later.
"Please?"
"No."
"Please???
"Absolutely not."
"PLEASE?"
"I'll disown you if name the baby that."
That shut Khushi up as she glared at her difficult husband. Why had she ever married him?
