after today's episode -- what is fascinating to me is that i have absolutely no sympathy for asha even now -- even after the way the courtroom scene evolved and the questions she was asked.
Yet, for the bhakth's sister, even though there was identical similiarity in the situation with asha, I really felt moved by her story. It has nothing to do with the fact that she committed suicide.
I wonder why that is?
Anyone care to venture a guess? I'm just exploring my own psyche. why would i feel sympathy for the bhakth's sister and absolutely no sympathy for asha?

thanks asru.
Yes, it would be hard for you to explain my previous question if you havent understood my POV 😆😆. Point well taken. I dont think it is prudent to explain my POV -- it will probably take another 99 posts and we will still be at square one.
All the best for your job. Hugs to you. 😃

There was nothing in the 'bhakt's' account about the circumstances in which his sister ended up being raped by Dhongi - from what you've written, I'm guessing that that's where it comes from. Other than that, her story sounded like a carbon copy of Asha's, except that he didn't try to talk her out of it the way Anandi had tried earlier.

maybe because no anandi was involved there, your extreme irritation with anandi "victim tag" was transferred to ashaa too ...
.😉or could it be because this girls whole story was an abridged version finished in 10 minutes while asha anandi vs dhongi is dragging on for 10 days 😆

Btw geli meant crazy in dadisa's words.

i agree!! even sumtime ppl say that sum gals wear skimpy dresses etc. & that makes men 2 rape!!🤢🤢rape or attempt 2 rape is not that men do it 4 enjoymnet bcoz wat sum1 get from a struggling gal or uninterested partner?? its only 2 satisfy their ego or 2 prove their supermacy on sum1 weak & by forcibly doing it prove that they want 2 show their power 2 crush the weak!!🤢🤢🥱🥱 and we'd even heard the cases where men'd raped fully dressed gals, 70-80 yrs old women & even 8-10 months old babies!!😡🤢🤢🤢

I'll tell u why tinno . Asha is attractive and Ur jealous .. Seriously you have the its okay to rape the girl who wears the skirt cuz she is asking for it mentality . If asha was a frumpy fugly housewife you would be supportive. :) it's okay now days ESP in the states they have boot camps .. Shakes .. Personal trainers .. Diet pills u can loose the extra few and feel better about yourself

@ pjyo -- thank you for this. 🤣🤣
🤣 . This made me laugh out loud!
yes, my extreme irritation with anandi victim tag has most definitely been transferred to asha as well. you are right. i think if asha was just a widow who had nothing to do with anandi, then maybe i would feel sympathetic towards asha.

Thank you Vrish. I think you have nailed a good portion of my question!
Yes, I feel sympathy for that other widow, because she and the bhakth were both obviously simpletons from a poor background without any exposure.
I think I really find it hard to reconcile that asha, with people like shyam and anandi around her, who are well-read and have exposure, can be so devoid of common sense/exposure regardless of how isolated she kept herself. It just feels that asha SHOULD have known better than the other child widow (bhakth's sister)... and yes, I think this is where my value system is at odds with asha's. If anandi had warned me, regardless of how much faith I had in the baba, I would have given anandi a fair hearing as well. But that's just me, I listen to as many people as possible and then take an informed decision. Asha may have been blinded in her faith and refused to listen to one word against him.
