I think Lata's boss could be Vimal's friend and maybe the personal problem that he wanted to discuss is about the boss and Lata. So it could only be a match-making as exactly after Vimal sends her to the jewellery shop, Lata's boss is there too. So it could only be a match-making. And Vimal didn't seem bad, he still joked all the while. So could not be Vimal or the boss. It has to be the goons but saved by Raj 😕

yeah hopefully vimal is just acting as a go between the boss and lata and he said those things to bring lata out of her shell and feel comfortable around men again.

Definitely not Vimal.that will make no sense. Sounds more like Vimaal's attempt at matchmaking BUT when the goons threatened Abha, the guy looked at Lata. Raj would have been a nic ematch but some of these ladies , like Lata are too submissive, they have no spark, she would be wasted on Raj. Maybe she did not want to arrive at SB alongside Vimal and insisted on taking a taxi < shrugs>

I really liked Vimal's character when he was shown good and I hope the CV's don't plan to ruin his character by showing him having bad intentions towards Lata..everything seems to be all over the place
