It comes as a huge blow to ZEE TV, which has been facing the heat from Sony TV for a number of weeks, mainly down to the success of drama 'Bade Ache Lagte Hai' and 'X Factor India'. Sony TV is expected to grow more with the 'KBC' viewership data next week. Sony TV has recorded 195 GRPs this week (last week 187). ZEE TV has maintained the status quo and recorded 190 GRPs (last week 190).

Not only that from Thursday 1st September (tentative), the three Sony owned channels will be going under its biggest ever makeover since launching.
Whilst the logos have not been dramatically changed, they have been tweaked with each channel reinforcing the 'Sony' brand. The corporate 'Sony' font will now be placed above each logo, with the name of the channel beneath it. As part of the overhaul, each channel will carry a similar corporate theme with new on-air promos, packaging and signature tunes.

The network is undergoing its biggest change after flagship channel, Sony TV surged ahead in the India ratings with launches like 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', 'X Factor India' and drama 'Bade Ache Lagte Hain'.
