Mihir Misra and Snigdha Akolkar Mihir Misra, of Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyan, has refused to do a rape scene in the show. He supposedly put his foot down when asked to enact the scene with co-star Snigdha Akolkar. Image control "I have heard Mihir wasn't too happy with that scene. He has, in fact, already conveyed his decision not to participate in the act to the concerned people. He's concerned about his image. He isn't playing negative on the show, so why should he commit rape?" revealed a co-star. Sonal, the creative head for the show, confirmed that there would be a rape scene in the serial soon. "A rape scene is happening next week. Mihir and Snigdha will be shown to be divorced; he rapes her just before that happens." Mihir has to do it Is she aware of Mihir's apprehension about going ahead with the scene? "I am clear about going ahead with the scene. It's necessary for the story, as it takes the show to another high point. Mihir will have to do the scene for us." 'Aesthetic' rape? Snigdha, too, confirmed the development. "Yes, we will be shooting a rape sequence. But I am not aware of Mihir's position on this. I will think about it, when I have to do it. As an actress, I am required to be ready to deliver what's asked of me. However, I will make sure that it's done aesthetically, and is in good taste." The show is all set for a major makeover. "We will be shooting at a new location, and the feel and look of the show will be brand new," says Sonal. Will the actors remain the same? "We have lots of new characters. Shyamlee will also have a new look as well." Mihir Misra was unavailable for comment.

in an interview on Sahara Mumbai, snigdha (shyamlee) said the serial was to show that the institution of marriage still exists!

i think tht for de past few weeks dis serial is raising higher with its dirty scenes 🤢 ....first wit dat jayanth,thn sania n apporva n now following them is gonna b Vikram 😡 ....this serial is gettin yuck n dirty...hope this dose'nt get graded to another level....absolute crap........ 😡 if it goes at dis range thn sahara will hav to pull down dis show...

Hey guys i do except that it is turning out yuck but look at the other side. That's how he can proove himself that he is not "Namard". I am not sure of the Hindi word and then what the twist of the story will finally come and he will get back for his child and confess all his "Paap"
