there is a long history on this...see I read the four books of vd...ten years ago, they were my fav and I told my hubby these books shud be a serial, and stefan was the hero, a decade later they did but on tv it's really different, this generation loves damon more and ian is good, but because I'm grounded to my pteference I did not start watching tv vd past the first epi. I have book 5,6,7 but I am yet to read them. Hence abhay in my minds eye fit the role perfectly, hence I love this show. Regarding abhay, he's, my fav character but I'm 32 years old so I don't like vivian in the way you girls do or the way I love akki. But as a actor and character I support him like I do with arhaan behl.
