The dragfest is over people. This was the most anticlimactic unveiling of a character EVER. He said 'Rani Sahiba' and I said 'Duh'.

So Shyam is staying in a house with Khushi, Payal, and Bua and has been chup chupke calling Anjali on the side. He is leading a dual identity - keeping one secret from the other. He is morally dubious. He is the total opposite of ASR - good boy mask, bad boy underneath versus ASR's bad boy mask, good boy underneath. These are now facts and these are all out in the open for the viewer. Let's deal with the facts and move on.

I say I love him as the husband as we do not have to wait for this non-revelation any longer. And because it is his specific character - many questions come to mind. I can't say I "HATE" Shyam as Anjali's husband, I don't know his reason for duplicity. I don't know why he is moving into Khushi's life. I don't know what situation he married Anjali in. I don't know if he knows how Khushi is related to the Raizada's. I don't know how he has been able to pull the wool over Arnav's eyes - or if he really has (this is the most unbelievable for me - how is ASR being fooled?).

Shyam is now the lynch pin in different relationships - Arnav/Anjali, Anjali/Khushi, Arnav/Khushi...their love/hate depends on what he reveals and how.

Let the mind games begin.

Ok Anu I don't agree with you here - simply because Shyam is a womanizer while being married to Anjali..and I think that the reason why he is chupke se living in Khushi's house is because of some super big raaz which is yet to be unveiled - I mean seriously, if Shyam was to be an ideal husband, then why is he hitting on other women & hiding from his wife ? That makes no sense to me...!!😕

We do not know what the real panga is. Why is he doing this? what makes him do this? and as you said what were the circumstances when he married Anjali. 🤔

hmm we shouldn't be hating this guy sooo much (as of now) but still i hate him. I just cannot control myself. I have to admit that your post is lovely, it makes sense but i will stop hating him only if the cvs LITERALLY show him as a positive character. 😕

Oh no Amisha, I do not think Shyam is perfect by any means. That is why I said he has a good boy mask, bad boy under it and he is morally dubious. If he is a womanizer - why did he get married to Anjali? What is the ulterior motive. There is no other character in the show with a foot in each household who could do this kind of damage to so many characters.

Unfortunately, I don't think he is a positive character. I think his marriage to Anjali is totally calculated and an attempt to 1) exact revenge and 2) take down ASR. When this motive becomes clear, I will love to despise him.

Anu , i totally agree with you. Shyam is Anjali's Hubby get over it people. dont know how he married her , i mean in which circumstance he married her, but still he claims he loves her wife , respects her, at the second hand i dont know why he has set his eyes on khushi. but at the same time he is still with his wife , so far he havent done anything bad to her or neither hurt her. and thats why she loves him a lot. theres something about his character which we need to understand instead of bashing him!
