i've been quiet because im still contemplating what the heck that baba meant when he said he's feeling a worldly attraction to runjhun 😕
does he mean like physical/romantic attraction? ugh!

As for the bangle breaking scene i guess i didnt read too much into it, i initially just thought, the reason for it was to give guddu an excuse to buy runjhun stuff...but i like your ideas better wafah! somethin to think about.

Nice wake up call, Wafah! Unusually quiet forumers these past two days... me, I got a long day today multi-tasking at work... 😭
The Gunjhun date started out nice.. saw them first time to be going out like a real couple coming out from their own home... though I thought it was Guddu's genuine idea, but alas! it was another lie on the part of Guddu in order to protect Runjhun.. What I am wishing to see is for them to go out on a date w/o any reservations or any motive at all.. just a plain going out to enjoy each other's company and get to know eah other better.
With respect to Runjhun accidentally hurting Guddu with her bangles, my take on it is that it is her nature to apologize for anything that can a person, unintentional, much so if it was intentional... but I can sense that it is foreshadowing that Guddu told her never apologize to him. Guddu is keeping from her his knowledge that she's a Bhagonwali. Therefore, if Runjhun unintentionally hurt him in the future, Guddu will take it like it serves him right because he kept a secret from her... I dunno if this made sense but I guess this Bhagonwali secret will surely devastate Runjhun.
As to the Black Magic Baba, I want to wack the TV when I saw in the translation that he is being attracted to her and that he has worldly illusions of attractions to her...😡 🤢🤢 SAY WHAT??!! Whether I am literally taking it out of context, I still don't like the way it sounds... he's kinda unforgiving and OA!
Maybe that BMB cast a dry spell on us BBAT forumers that there is a deafening silence out here...😆😆😆
HELLO THERE PEEPS!😉

Okay my point wasn't that the forum is quiet...there just seemed a lack of posts so I took the initiative to spam with my thoughts...nor was my concern with what the scene would mean for future TRP wise nor was it a comment on Zee or CVs messing with the story...or any of the sort. I don't even care what purpose the Baba serves in the story.

My point was more on the focus of Guddu and Runjhun's relationship and how Guddu and Runjhun's relationship has been a focus of back and forth of hurting, mostly on Guddu's part, and how he's slowly undoing all of that.

Today while Guddu told Runjhun that it is because of her good fortune that good things happened. The reason we question is because we think yes Guddu knows she's fortunate, and so he slipped up, but that's not entirely true. I don't think he believes she is the "fortunate" one or that she trully can create miracles. What he said isn't any different from what his parents said when Runjhun walked into their lives. From their heart they felt that Runjhun goodness brought along the good fortune. I think when Guddu said it it wasn't because he was talking about her birth chart but because of her goodwill and fate that good things have happened.
There is a lot of frustration in the forum with the way things have been going and I understand that but I'd rather not focus on that but rather the potential that Guddu and Runjhun's relationship still has because there are the subtleties that still remain. I mentioned how Guddu tries to protect Runjhun despite the cuts and bruises he might receive now or in the future. Despite how it goes against his conscience.

Today too Guddu held Runjhun away before she could cut herself. Runjhun has become so used or rather forced into being the martyr, the "it's my fault, I have to fix it" stance. She's not used to someone being by her side, taking on her burdens, which is why Guddu constantly has to reassure her that he's there. He's willing to get hurt. He's willing to fight her battles with her, and for her. If Runjhun was stubborn before Guddu changed, he's being stubborn with her.

What I like is the fact that he never does it to show that he's helping her, but always tells her it's because he is selfish. He doesn't want to spend the night taking care of her, because if she gets hurt, he'll have to.

I think Runjhun needs to be treated in the manner so she slowly comes out of her dutiful role. Guddu doesn't want her to be dutiful, he wants her to like him for who he is. He is still very mindful of all the pain he has caused her and that is why he doesn't expect love right away. He's tried to hurt Runjhun in the past, today he's willing to take it all back. Now he's slowly undoing all that he's done, so he can be worthy of her affections. Today he's picking up the pieces of that yesterday he threw at her feet to hurt her.

Yes there are a lot of factors like the Baba and the mamis and the constant pull towards the Pandey Nivaas but those things are going to loom till the truth is out. They will give Runjhun a chance to understand Guddu's affections then take it away...but I'm not focused on the pain that will come in the future...Despite the overt other unnecessary things I'm more interested in Guddu and the Runjhun relationship dynamic that still retains in some ways it's subtleties despite occasionally not entirely dealing with what we see as issues.

I like what you said Wafa.

I think of Guddu and Runjhuns relationship in a manner that they both are trying in their own way to reach the other. Guddu has said many times in the past that he is a modern man he dose not want a dimwit and subsurvient wife. He wants equal patnership in their relationship and that is what he trys to show her at every given opportunity that he is there to share the burden togather with her.

Guddu said on the wedding day that everytime Runjhun is happy he is in pain. That is true until they started helping one another and started to live togather.

Guddu learned when he left Runjhun that he cannot live without her and love her. Runjhun has to go through the same situation and feelings for them to be able to make a bond that no mama mami or any tantrik or other problems can break.

All the mama mamis efforts to seperate Runjhun and Guddu will slowley put them togather and they will become so strong that no one can break them after that.

In jan 4 episode amma told Guddu to be a lotus in mud and that is what they Gunjhun are going to be. Mud is all the hatred they get from others mama mamiand Jabbo and Tantrik but the lotus of their love will bloom and survive.

Haila, what a post!! Let me re-read and come back.

Edit:

Ok I am back.

I'm almost afraid to analyze this scene because of the potential that is there. I too thought that the bangle breaking and cutting him scene was important just because of the fact that it WASN'T a romantic thing. It was an innocent moment...or so we think.

I never take the breaking of bangles to be a good sign. To me it almost seemed like something bad is coming Guddu's way. Bangles can represent a married woman, right? So a bangle breaking and cutting Guddu gave me a weird feeling - like if the Baba really comes after Runjhun then he will need to get rid of Guddu first. I don't think anything bad will happen to him but maybe something that would normally kill a person will just injure Guddu as Runjhun's bhaag will save him. The reason I am kind of OK with this because I think Guddu having an injury now would shake Runjhun a lot. Yes, he got injured in the accident before but the relationship then was different i.e. she knew he hated her. Maybe his potential upcoming injury is when we see love back in Runjhun's eyes.

I didn't actually think about the fact that Runjhun says sorry but that's a good catch Wafah. I had liked that Guddu told her not to apologize but that's a good thing for her to keep in mind in general and just when it pertains to Guddu. She can't keep blaming herself for things outside of her control. Maybe it'll ultimately lead to her not feeling guilty about her being a bhagonwali.

So I remembered this thread after Guddu's near miss today and came back to read what we all had written... anyone else notice a similarity with what I had written and what seems to be happening? 😕

Rani I thought like you did about the bangel It is ingraind in you when you grow up in India. The signs are there. Aghori is looking for Runjhun. He is attracted to Runjhun. There is an interview that says that Aghori is planning to marry Runjhun. There is Mitho who wants Runjhun back in Pn no matter what even if it means harming Guddu.

I said something like Runjhun leaves Guddu hurt and bleeding this time.
To day was one thing happening. Guddu survieved hurting others and himself. I took it to be Aghoris shraap that damaged the breaks. I know that Guddu will not belive it and not many others either but that is my interpretation of the incident. Similarly Guddu thanked God for saving him he didnot think about Runjhuns bhaag.

So that has significanse about the breaking of the bangeles and hurting Guddu just like today he got saved and she was putting sindoor in her parting.

I forgot to respond to this, didn't I?
When I saw the bangle scene, I thought this was not an idle frame added to extend the episode. It portends some important event coming down the pike.
Firstly, they were red bangles, worn by new brides.
**The significance of that was that something in their marriage will go awry.
Runjhun does not go out to hurt him on purpose but it was an accidental hurt.
***The significance of that is that something beyond her control will happen that will be shocking.
The reformed Guddu recognizes it as an accident and dismisses it as such.
***Guddu will accept it as something beyond their control that needs to be taken in stride.
Runjhun, as is her character, takes responsiblility for it and apologizes but Guddu tells her not to carry the burden of all that happens.
***The incident will leave a mark, but Guddu's take will be that, Runjhun though involved, may not be responsible and should not hold herself responsible for every thing that goes awry in their marriage.
