Linkup makes Gurmeet-Drashti wary
Life without wife is no fun and it seems that actor Gurmeet Chaudhary will go to almost any lengths to ensure that his better half Debina is happy with him! At the recent Gold awards, we hear that the heartthrob was hesitant to perform at the ceremony with his on-screen partner Drashti Dhami after recent reports in the press about his alleged link-up with her.

While such reports cause awkwardness between any actor and his wife, what made matters worse for Gurmeet was all the hate mail he and Debina had begun receiving for being together -apparently some crazed fans do not wish to see the actor with anyone but Drashti! Naturally, he and his wife have been upset over this issue.
With all this chaos at the back of his mind, the actor actually requested the organizers to not make him perform with Drashti. He was fairly insistent that he will not perform unless they plan a separate act for him with some other actors.
It was only much later when Debina stepped in and said she was perfectly fine with the two of them performing together that he agreed to perform with Drashti. Gurmeet, we like the dedication and commitment to wifey dearest! Gurmeet Choudhary added, "I am lucky to get wife like Debina who knows everything and moreover I want the audiences to watch the awards which will be aired this weekend on Zee TV."
