ME - turning points

I just came to the forum after the ME and realised that a lot of people are disappointed with the mahaepisode ... nothing new, really 😆 ... most of the times, mahaepisodes are a disappointment. 😛

But I wasn't so disappointed ... because as I was discussing with a friend, I felt it was WAYYY too soon for EITHER Arnav's past to emerge OR for any major track change ... the show has been on air for barely a month ... Not nearly long enough to have any major track changes ... the main tracks have barely been established in the first place.

I also agree the second half was dragged ... showing the concern for Khushi at her family's house was just killing time towards the end ... including Shyam's extreme reluctance to talk to anyone in the Raizada house - we already know he has some khufiya relationship with them, and it remained khufiya till the end ... 😕

But for me, two major changes happened ... or rather one change happened, and the second might now start. And the major track change which happened was the change in Khushi's feelings for Arnav ...

You guys waiting for Rabba ve and ArHi moments???? Perish the thought ... they ain't gonna happen any time soon!!! Till now, it was Arnav hating Khushi for unknown reasons ... from now, the boot's going to be on the other foot ... till now, Khushi didn't hate Arnav, regardless of the shit he was throwing her way ... she was just bent on proving a point to him, and doing it the best way she could, as honestly and decently as she could. She was getting bewildered every time by the unfairness, by the venom, by the powerplay ... but she kept going doggedly ...
But now ... ASR went too far ... despite the fact that this time it probably was not intentional, he actually didn't know how unsafe that building was ... I'm giving him the benefit of doubt here ...
But starting off at the breakfast table, the sheer bloodymindedness of refusing to take her with him to office, then the yelling at her about aukat and how girls like her tryo to phasoa rich young men ... (will return to that later - that's the second point of the day) ... which from her POV was totally unfounded ... also, did it strike a chord somewhere? because that part really stung her ... to the sending her off to that deathtrap of a building with no actual work for her to do there ... where shewas stuck alone at night with the building collapsing around her ...
And you think Khushi's gonna fall for Arnav??? Forget it!!! She is now going to hate Arnav Singh Raizada with all her guts ... THAT was the major track change today.

And the second ... the seesaw begins ... cos ASR is probably going to have his change of heart ... at the very least he will be worried, concerned, will probably rush there to find her ... my guess is either she will be unhurt and they will both be mad at each other ... or she will get slightly injured ... enough to kick start his guilt feelings even more ... and she will now be the one mad at him ... the hate kicking in at her end, while he starts the meltdown ... hopefully ... I sooo want to see ASR suffer now for what he put Khushi through *sadistic laugh*

The other thing which struck me was the words ASR used when yelling at Khushi in the office ... about girls like her trying to catch rich young men ... that is probably related to his past (well duh!) ... so ASR's history may start to emerge slowly. But consdiering the show is based on the history between Arnav and Khushi, my feeling is that it's not going to happen any time soon. And it may happen for some time to come in teasers like this one.

A third thing ... will Lame ma'am make an exit? Or will she still be around? Cos Arnav didn't intend to marry her anyway, and Nani cancelled her patta too ... Lakshmi finally was of some use ... Or will Lame stay around to become typical SP vamp? But that's an aside ... Lame ma'am is a sidey. Shyam is the joker in the pack here ... he may upset a lot of equations ...

So I wasn't disappointed in totality ... stories never really move much in mahaepisodes, but there was some underground shifts here for sure. Waiting for Monday to see how they take it from here!

I wasn't entirely disappointed too! The second half was draggy, yes. But we did expect that they'd leave the accident for Monday.

EXACTLY. Today, she finally actually HATES ASR. Till now, she didn't feel as bad about his insults. But he did cross the line today. Beginning from the breakfast scene, and then before leaving home for office, he reminds her of her "aukat" again and just cause she spoke to Nani, she isn't worth even sitting in his car.

Then the office scene. He again tells her not to forget her "aukat", and that she's done this all to phasao a rich man. That really did hurt her the most, and ASR repeats it again and again in front of her.
He sends her to a broken down building, where she has nothing to do. And indirectly endangers her life. And that's when Khushi knows that she can have nothing for him but hatred.

So I found the epi a significant one, cause till now we just saw Arnav's hatred, now we'll see Khushi's hatred. People were saying she should hate him for everything he's done, so here it is. And she won't have any feelings except hatred for a LONG time now, I'm sure.
Plus, I have a feeling the Shyam issue is gonna create some MAJOR problems again between Arnav-Khushi, though not sure when.

Exactly ... it WAS a turning point of sorts ... for Khushi ... he went on and on about her aukat ... till she was like, what the hell have I actually done??? 😡 And she did try to argue back, but he just shouts her down every time! And now he's actually endangered her life ...
Ashu and I always used to discuss that how on earth will Khushi ever start to fall for him ... well, we got the answer in this episode ... not for a long, long time! And I think that's going to be the way this story goes ... a seesaw ... as one softens, the other hardens, one melts, the other hates ... but there has got to be something which will stop them from ever going away from each other completely ... we have a theory on that too 😉 ... but it might be too farfetched to post yet 😉

And yes, Shyam is going to create some major problems and issues ... esp if he IS Anjali's husband, which from the latest promo seems likely!

This would be the perfect change in khushi,cos like you said, she didn't hate him before, but after today yess his words were sooo harsh! Worse even than before and she was stung pretty bad!

So now hopefully we will see the change in her, with her giving it right back!! its high time she did! cos today I was waiting for her to say something but she never got to!

But yep, I think this will be the major twist here ... she starts to hate him, and he starts to feel guilty ... whether he is drawn to her for other reasons, I'm still iffy about ... he's starting to get attracted for sure ... but he's fighting that attraction with everything he's got ... which is why he's OTT obnoxiously rude and downright horrible to her ... she gets under his skin and he doesn't like it one bit. He's been trying to drive her away, and when he finally succeeds, he'll find thats not what he wanted after all!

I don't think she will say anything though ... I think this will just put her back up and she will emerge stronger but she will start to harden up ... her attitude to him especially ...

Yeah, there has to be a limit to how much hurt one can take. For Khushi, that limit was crossed today. Yeah, I don't blame him totally for the accident, cause he may not have known what was the condition of the building... But the words before that were really harsh.
The writers of this show did say, it's gonna be a love-hate story. This epi actually laid the foundation for that story, cause this hatred will go on for a VERY long time. The track turns reallyy interesting, cause Arnav is beginning to have thoughts abt her, and he'll feel guilty for the site accident. At the same time, she'll begin to hate him. So it'll go on this way. That's the theme. They hate each other, but can't really hate each other!

@naz ... yep the second half was totally dragged ... the phone bit and the Lame bit ... but it was very obvious that they won't show the accident - if it's gonna happen - till Monday ... either Arnav will find her unhurt but stuck there the whole night or till whenever he manages to get there ... or she will get hurt and that will kickstart his guilt ... or rather put it into second gear ... its already started ... but she's now on the other end ...

uff ... I was starting to like the mami ... now I dislike her again ... she really has a bee in her bonnet about Khushi😡

Well said Diya. I re-saw the episode and I am glad that there will be change in Arnav and Khushi's attitude. It's truly time for Khushi to hate Arnav, because unless she hates him, how can she have any of those feelings for him.
