Is that so impossible??

Runjhun accepted their relation...she feels Guddu is a good human being...She respects him and started trusting him too then whats blocking her way...Why she is not in favour of sharing the same bed...either she believes she won't be able to resist herself(which is a good thing) or she has some confusions with this relation...

I think there is something which is blocking her way ...She got goosebumps on seeing one bed...What can be the reason that is making her to accept the relation but not Guddu as her husband...her higher expectations,or the recent kundali thing...What is coming in her way to accept Guddu?...

Well i think Runjhun's first reason for her marriage to work out was AMMA as her happiness lies in amma's happiness. And with time Guddu has changed and she was happy with his good behaviour towards Amma and herself. But after Guddu's love confession "i love u and i can't live without u" it's my opinion i think she was taken aback as she has never imagined this coming from Guddu. Indeed she is happy that her hubby loves and cares for her but she hasn't fully responsed as she was mainly focused on the Pandey evils as family life has already been her priority. I think that's the reason why she hasn't realised her love for Guddu yet.

Could it be the past? Or maybe she needs more time to get use with this new situation? I think that in their world there are like 4 days since Guddu told her that he loves her. A week ago, Guddu told her that if she puts more spice in the food, he will kill her, and now he is like "If you don't mind, can I feed you?" I guess, not only Runhjun, but in the real world any person will need more time to accommodate to such a change and to believe in it.

Great thread. This is what I am confused about. Maybe CV's/Channel is trying to give mixed messages?

The night that it is 3 in the morning, Runjhun is up crying on the steps about MD pregnancy doesn't Guddu wake up to look to the pillow next to him and wonder where she is???? Then he gets up and looks for her.

Okay implication, she shares the bed with him. There is a pillow there and they do not show him looking down at the floor for her. Guddu lifts his head only part-way and glances at the pillow next to him. This just seemed a comfortable next step in the relationship and funny for the viewers who have seen all the cute debates about the bed between this couple.

Plus Runjhun saw the blue house already and remember Guddu shows her the bed then and says that it is a "new set." At that time she looks pleased by the whole house and has no reaction to the one bed.

So maybe the Channel/CV's wanted her to go back to square one on the bed issue and that is why they made her have a visible reaction to the one bed yesterday? Hard to know. Maybe CV's want us to experience her shyness as a new bride and there are a lot of pressures now on Runjhun because this is her house.

Or maybe that was a goof up when Guddu looks at the pillow next to him in PN and he should have been looking for her at the floor?

Jpalagrawal, i think he didn't have to look on the floor for her because if she had been on the floor, then the pillow would not have been on the bed, it would have been on the floor under her head.

Edit: I think that we all assume that because he loves her, he will let her now sleep on the bed, but he also said that he will not do things to impress her which could also mean: "Let's make one thing clear! The bed is mine! Don't you think that just because I love you and I can't live without you means that you will have the bed!

So, in their new house, he was nice enough to bring her a bed too, but even now he choose the bigger and the most comfortable one.

So you are saying that because the pillow is on the bed it means RJ did not take it to sleep with her on the floor. Guddu realizes by process of elimination that pillow is there, RJ never took it to the floor.

I can agree with this. Only confusing because their bed never had two pillows. It only started having two pillows after love confession and G. came back to PN. Pillows are in the armoire and brought out for the night. Plus G is always sprawled out on the entire bed. In that scene when he looks for her, he is neatly on the right side of the bed.

But anyway maybe consistency in details does not fit the shooting rigors of a daily soap. We are looking at physical pieces of evidence to try to understand a mental journey that characters are taking. That is why such discussion on minutia is even being talked about. Pillows, beds all become external markers with which we can pin down these character's thoughts and feelings. As audience members we are possibly unfairly looking at such objects as barometers of such intangibles as attraction, growing warmth, companionship and comfort. Such literary analysis may not fit the genre of a daytime soap. This I am realizing.

Personally I felt that the instructions via the Creatives to Runjhun's character that she have a visible reaction to the bed was not necessary. It may have made Guddu feel bad that the idea of sharing a bed with him, (not having sex, as that is not on the table) is still so uncomfortable to her, but hey let's let the story-tellers tell their tale.

Now that Runjhun is out of PN and alone with her hubby in her new house i guess she will appreciate him more like a husband rather than a human being. It will take time as due to the efforts of Mithoo the seed of doubt is there and she will be express herself once her love will wins over her doubt.

And regarding the bed arrangement, indeed she is afraid as sooner or later they will have to share the same bed and she can't escape it. Normally it should not be a problem as she fully aware of Guddu's love and trust but it's her turn now to show some physical attractions and love.
