Abhay : From the hunted to the 'Hunter'.
Strange. It really is. Does Abhay have a schism or a divide in his personality? Its like he is not one man – its something like he is made up of many men. You can term it a multiple personality assortment. Can't call it a disorder because Abhay is in sync with all the people that he is made up of. Like today , we saw Abhay the savior again , but somehow, or maybe its just me , he seemed diametrically different from the savior we see with Piya.
The emotional, anxious , sad and melancholic savior of Piya , suddenly turned into a focused , roaring , calculating and planning man of action . The emotion was at its lowest today on Abhay – it was just cold intelligence and decisive gait and aura of a leader. While you have always seen Abhay go into impulsive foolishness and sad depressing play of feelings while saving and protecting Piya , you see a complete 360 degree turn when he has to do the same for Chaand.
Suddenly, Abhay was an angry roaring lion who immediately got down to planning and executing his next move. He did not think even once that he is walking straight into the mouth of danger . Not even once did the thought cross his head that return to Mount College and the old gang will expose him to Piya. He did not give a damn about how he is going to handle this agony of going through the same crap , same hatred , same see saw of life all over again. No. To hell with it all. He had just one thought in his mind and just once conviction – His father's life. If the price of saving Chaand's life is putting himself through the same shit again, so be it.
It was rather a different shade of Abhay today . Not something I can connect to because we have RARELY seen him like that – it was actually a civilized monster talking . Something dark, dangerous and focused – you know the kind you have in your face when you have you know that you don't have the w whole game mapped out in front of you, but you know that its you who is going to check , mate and defeat the king.
Abhay 's best line was when a helpless Haseena told Abhay that she wishes Chaand was with them to find the werewolves.
" Is baar main yahaan hoon."
I am relieved at this new side of Abhay. He emanated absolute power today.
P.S- But if only Abhay knew that the game has a twist. Jay and clan want Abhay to find them . Find them, so that they can play with Abhay in the open. Hell yeah, Abhay. You are gonna get them within 7 days but the question is are you ready for the aftermath.
P.P.S- In the party, except Kabir and Jay , nobody made sense to me. What was that? When Piya faked feeling cold, Jay's expression was more like – " Kis mahaan write ne chaar tequila shot maar ke likha ye scene ". Phew! Anyway, Abhay, Jay, Kabir and Haseena were FAB today and that too when Jay didn't even have to do much talking.
