Are marriage talks damaging kareena's career?

Some of her fans have noticed that she's not being signed for any of the big projects coming up...or any project for that matter.

She even confidently turned down Heroine and Once Upon A time in Mumbai 2

But after Aamir's movie, she has not signed anything else.

So do talks of an impending marriage really affect producers in bollywood or is there more at play?

Is she purposely refusing movies, or just not getting any offers? Or maybe there are "projects in the pipeline" that we dont know about.

If there arn't a lot of projects lined up I 100% believe its her own choice. Kareena's wayyy too much on demand for producers/directors to not be offering her many roles. And i don't know if its marriage talks, but i think she probably just wants to take it slower.

After reading this Heroine saga, I was wondering about Kareena's movie choices.

I still think that Kareena is apt for Heroine. No, I don't think that Bhandarkar is a genius but he is one of the few who at least makes films with female leads that wins them accolades too. Kareena has the nakhras, adas to be the arrogant actor, also puts on weight in a jiffy and of course one of the best actors we have today. And it's been long since she did something substantial.

I'm also surprised that Yash Chopra who always works with top female leads of every generation never offered a role to Kareena. Did he ever? If not, I wonder why.

Maya, in kareena's entire career, she's only recieved two projects from Yash Raj.

Mujhse Dosti Karogi and Tashan.

I think something happened during Roadside Romeo that made Yash Raj mad. Like saif and Bebo didnt promote it completely. I remember reading Yash Raj was miffed with em.

^^ No, I'm not talking about YRF offers. I meant Yash Chopra's direction. Sridevi, Juhi, Madhuri Dixit, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee. Aditya Chopra directed Kajol under his father's supervision. Now the latest is announced with Katrina and Anushka where he is going gaga over latter's talent. In his words: "beautiful Katrina and very talented Anushka Sharma". Why not Kareena?

Geet happened in 2007. Since then she's part of superhit movies but I hope she does something substantial, a strong female character even if the movie fails. Priyanka will always be remembered for her 7 Khoon Maaf. It's one of those films that will get rave reviews as the years go by.

Oh, and I totally forgot about Roadside Romeo. Meh that was a terrible animation. I don't blame them for not promoting it. NY Times criticized its animation. It was something like "characters are oddly naked and move awkwardly".

What are the chances of Heroine happening with Kareena btw?

She turned it down, but i wonder if madhur approached her again, would she agree?

im not a kareena fan.. but she would do good in a Madhurs movie.

he brings out angst well.

i think kareena has reached a level beyong letting a relationship/marital status affect her. she doesnt have to be single to have offers.

i think she is taking a break.. she has worked hard for a while..

she deserves one

I guess Kjo was miffed with her for a while and that must have passed on to Yash uncle too...After all They are family...So he must have avoided working with her...

Then when Kjo and Bebo finished their katti and they became dost again by then Yash Chopra had taken a break from direction...

Now that he wants to direct something I think he is looking at someone who is right on top now and that is Katrina... and he got teh beauty... He needed some talent too... So who else other than latest talent sensation Anushka...

I hope it happens with Kareena. I for one want to see her doing more good movies. Vishal Bharadwaj already signed Anushka for his next.
