The pooja is going on and all of the family is seated around it except for Anandi. She is in her room remembering her wedding and her entry into the house and her moments with Jagya. In the middle of the pooja Bhairav gets up and leaves and Sumitra follows him. Maasa tries to say something but Jagya stops her. Bhairav and Sumitra pass by Anandi's room and see her. Bhairav doesn't know what to say and Sumitra goes to consult her.
Pooja is complete and Maasa ask them to take the blessings. As JaGA go take Basant and Ghena's blessings he leaves. Maasa stops him and he tells her that i don't want to disrespect you but I can't do this any more. You had asked me to sit in the pooja and i did but i can't go on any further. Ghena gives a peircing look at them two and leaves.
JaGa and take blessing of the pandit and Maasa. Pandit asks to leave as he seems not so happy with this as well. As pandit is leaving Maasa gives him a load of money to keep his mouth shut. He says he would have done that regardless and no need for the money.
Gauri tells maasa that with your blessings we also want the parents blessing as well. Maasa says go ahead and try if you like. They stand in front of Bhairav's room and ask him for his blessings. he comes to the door and slams the door shut in their face. This hurts both JaGA. They walk over to Anandi's room who is stilling on the bed unmoved. Sumitra is crying and consulting Anandi. They come in and go over to Sumitra and ask for her blessings. She gives both of them a disgust look and leaves. Anandi sees them two and Jagya can't look at Anandi in the eye. Gauri touches Jagya arm and indicates him to leave.
Sarpanch and few of the villagers come home to see Maasa, and are greeted by Gauri. maasa comes in time before Gauri can say who she is. Maasa asks her to go inside and tell Sumitra to send some snacks and ask her to go inside. Gauri says she will bring it herself. In the mean time B&B come downstairs and meet the villagers. Gauri comes with a smile and serves everyone. Sarpanch ask who she is and Maasa says that she is a distant relative and studies in college with Jagya. Since they have some holidays she has come to meet everyone. This really hurts Gauri and she looks at Maasa. Maasa makes a face of just understand and Gauri is disgusted with Maasa.
Gauri goes up to Jagya room and crying and Jagya asks her what happened. She tells him if she didn't want to accept us then she should of said it, why play this double game. Why is people in the house so rude. She tells him what happened downstairs and that doesn't she have feelings and doesn't she also get hurt. She tells him that she didn't feel as bad when Maasa rejected her as she does right now. Jagya consults her and tells her that it must have been hard for maasa to say something in front of everyone so soon. Maasa has a reputation in this village and she can't just say it out load just like that. He gives her and example when Anandi had come to Mumbai and when he had introduced her as his relative he was in a awkward position at the time like Maasa was just now. Gauri realizes that how bad Anandi must have felt at that time like she is feeling at the moment.
Moral: The one does not realize how ones actions may hurt someone till it happens to them.
Preview: JaGa are getting cosy and Anandi is at the door seeing them together. Later Gauri comes to Anandi and tells her that Jagya and I don't want to start our lives with someones bad wishes.
