Early in the morning one of the workers brings flowers and calls out loudly. Mittho comes out irritated and tells him not to make such a loud noise. Billo comes out and asks what the ruckus is all about. Mittho says that Runjhun is missing and wonders where she's gone in the morning. Runjhun is outside on the terrace. She says a little prayer for Mahadevi. She asks God to forgive Mahadevi's mistake and make everything better in her life.
Runjhun done with her prayers spots Mahadevi trying to leave. Runjhun calls out to Mahadevi who becomes annoyed at being called out. Runjhun asks her where she is going in her condition, alone. Runjhun says she will come along. Mahadevi says if she wants to come then come quickly, she doesn't have time. Her impatience and irritation is written all over her face and she tells Runjhun that she is going to get her abortion done. Runjhun is upset and tells Mahadevi that what she is doing is wrong and sinful, and tells Mahadevi that she isn't trying to lecture her. Mahadevi is upset but before either of them can say anything, Mittho comes out and inquires what the two of them are doing together.
Mahadevi lies and says they came out for a walk, and grabs Runjhun's arm and looks at her to confirm. Runjhun nods and confirms and Mittho tells them that there is lot of work inside. She walks back in, and Mahadevi follows, but before that she tells Runjhun that she didn't do the right thing by stopping her.
Inside the milkman comes and calls out for Amma. Amma comes out of her room and asks him why it took him so long to come today. She goes to get the bowl for the milk and tells the milk man to give them extra milk for today. As the milk man is filling the milk, Amma spots Mahadevi and asks her how come she is up so early. Mahadevi says she went for an early morning walk. Amma smiles and tells her it is a good habit to have not only for one day but for every day even when she gets married. Mittho sarcastically comments that Amma should give advice every day instead of one day, and tells her to open up her own advice column so she can do it everyday. Amma shakes her head but doesn't say anything as Mittho walks away with Mahadevi.
Guddu comes down from his room and as he is leaving he runs into Runjhun, who immediately looks away. He asks her what happened as she looks worse than last night. He asks her if it is still because of Mahadevi's marriage. Runjhun says no, and then nods and says yes. Guddu asks her if that is truly what she is worried about then why can she not look in his eyes and tell him. He asks her if she is hiding something from him. Runjhun doesn't know what to say, and Guddu asks her to look at him. He tells her that her eyes are filled with tears, and she is definitely hiding something from him. Runjhun says there is a lot of work today and she has to go take care of it and walks off.
Amma who saw the whole exchange walks up to Guddu and consoles him and says that even God doesn't know when girls cry and why. She tells him not to worry. Guddu nods but he feels that there is definitely something else that is the matter and Runjhun isn't telling him the truth. Amma asks Guddu if something is bothering him, and Guddu shakes his head and asks Amma if she has some work for him. Amma says that she wants the red chunar from a temple and because it is so far away she can't send Runjhun and asks him to get it for her. She tells him to leave as soon as possible that way he can make it back before evening. Guddu says he will leave right now, and leaves.
Amma catches Billo giving directions over the phone and queries Billo who she is inviting. Billo says she wants to dance well at the wedding so she called a dance teacher. Kalsanwali comes and says she will dance too in style. Amma rolls her eyes. Runjhun is working in the kitchen listening to their conversation while working. Mittho comes and tells them they can dance all they want, but soon her daughter will be gone from this house. She gets emotional again, and Amma tells her that it is a happy occasion and Billo and Kalsanwali console her.
The dance teacher arrives and Billo introduces everyone. Mittho calls out for Mahadevi, and Billo asks Runjhun to bring water for the dance teacher. Mittho introduces Mahadevi to the dance teacher, and tells her to teach Mahadevi some dancing steps too. Runjhun protests and says that Mahadevi shouldn't dance. Mittho curiously asks why but Mahadevi tells Mittho that Runjhun is concerned that she will be tired from all of it. Mahadevi tells Runjhun that she shouldn't be concerned, and then tells her she will dance, and then tells the dance teacher to teach her the fastest number possible. All of the others agree and Mahadevi walks off with the dance teacher followed by Mittho, Billo and Kalsanwali. Runjhun knows that Mahadevi is purposefully trying to harm the life of the baby inside her because she wants the baby aborted and wonders what she can do.
As is gets later in the day, Amma wonders where Guddu is. She wonders if she should call him. She looks for the number Runjhun gave her and calls Guddu. He picks up his phone and tells her he will be there within the hour and tells Amma not to worry. Amma tells him to come quickly. Guddu keeps the phone and is on his way.
Runjhun is in her room worried. Mahadevi walks in and closes the door. Runjhun asks Mahadevi why she's closing her door. Mahadevi says she knows that Runjhun wants to save the life of the baby. She asks Runjhun to make a decision and tells her that she has one minute to make it. She asks Runjhun what she wants. Runjhun is unable to decide, and Mahadevi tells her that she understands that Runjhun wants Mahadevi's happiness and she tells her that she is her big sister. She tells Runjhun that she has to help her. Runjhun is too conflicted. Mahadevi tells Runjhun to sit in her room as her so she can leave to go get her abortion done. Runjhun doesn't know what to do but Mahadevi keeps crying so Runjhun agrees, and Mahadevi hugs her. They change skirts and the dupatta and Mahadevi tells Runjhun not to come out of her room till she returns. She closes her door and wraps Runjhun's dupatta over her head and tries to sneak out. She grabs two baskets from the floor so she can hide her face, and Mittho stops her thinking she is Runjhun and asks her where she is going.
Mahdevi prays that Mittho doesn't see her face. Billo calls Mittho to pick saris and Mittho lets Mahadevi go. Mahadevi sighs relieved and walks off.
Guddu is still on the road, and Mahadevi is headed to the hospital. She reaches the hospital and asks for Dr. Preeti. The doctor tells her to fill out the formalities and they will begin the process. Runjhun paces trapped, and still worried. She says that circumstances have put her in such a difficult spot and prays to somehow stop such a crime from happening. She doesn't want Mahadevi to lose the baby.
Precap: Guddu is in the hospital when the nurse calls out Runjhun Shukla's name. Mahadevi walks with the nurse. Guddu is shocked to hear Runjhun's name and asks the nurse about Runjhun and the nurse tells Guddu that Runjhun Shukla is here for abortion. Guddu walks into the room and calls out for Runjhun then sees Mahadevi who looks worried.
