I have a surprise...
I'm back...isn't that such a nice lovely surprise...thank you...
I'm kidding...First of all thanks to Gardes for covering my butt...She does such a great job.
Second of all we are down to #19 in the Chaska Meter...where are those slackers who haven't been hitting the Chaska Meter *narrows eyes*...you better get clicking or I'm tracking you down...
Anyways now onwards to the update...
Rajju and Vishnu discuss how to get rid of Guddu. Rajju tells Vishnu that Guddu stays in his house (because you won't let him leave) and eats his food, and one day like the anaconda will swallow them all. Kalsanwali says that they have to keep Guddu and Runjhun apart. The mamis join in and Mittho says that she, Billo and Kalsanwali will keep Runjhun busy with work and Rajju, Vishnu and Buntu can distract Guddu. This way they will stay apart. Mittho tells Vishnu to be careful that Guddu doesn't realize what they're planning and Vishnu assures her that won't happen.
Mahadevi looks at her card and realizes that soon she will be married off and she feels like she should talk to Jabbo one more time. She tries to go out of her room but runs into Mittho, who asks her where she's going. Mahadevi says she wanted water, and Mittho tells her that she's arranged for everything in Mahadevi's room and points out to the water bottle. Mittho makes Mahadevi sit, and tells her soon Mahadevi will be married, and the thought of Mahadevi leaving her and going makes her emotional. Mittho affectionately holds Mahadevi's braids and tells Mahadevi that she wishes that Mahadevi would become that little girl again, so she could hold her in her lap and embrace her. Mahadevi embraces her mother, and she too cries.
Next morning, Runjhun is up early giving directions, and the voice reaches Guddu and he gets up. He looks around and realizes that its already morning. He curses that his eyes didn't open, especially since he promised Runjhun he will take care of the arrangements. He quickly gets up from the bed, and grabs his towel to rush for a bath. He walks out and sees the preparations are going on in full force. He gets distracted in watching then chides himself and says he has to get ready quickly, and walks off to take a shower.
Runjhun is giving directions and Guddu comes down and crashes into Runjhun. She looks at him and smiles. Guddu tells her to walk carefully. When Runjhun doesn't say anything, Guddu asks her why she's staring and tells her that he's taken his shower and he's ready to help. He asks Runjhun, but she just continues to smile.
Guddu says he will do it himself and walks first to one of the guy hanging flowers. The guy politely tells Guddu that Runjhun has explained everything to him. He shakes his head and goes to another one placing the flowers. Guddu tells the man to put the flowers in the room. The man tells Guddu he's already been instructed where to place the flowers by Runjhun. Runjhun is watching and smiling, and Guddu looks at her, his hand on his hips and sighs that she seems to have taken care of everything.
He walks up to her and she's walking off but he tells her to stay a minute. He says all the arrangement is fine, but something isn't right with her. He tells her to hold still and says her bindi on her forehead isn't proper. He reaches out then tells Runjhun not to be scared when she pulls back a little. He straightens her bindi for her and places it in the middle and lower and tells her now it is fine.
The mamas and mamis walk in notice them and Vishnu says that at this rate they will never get anything done. He asks loudly if the henna ceremony preparations will get done or not. Runjhun and Guddu look towards the mamas, and Runjhun asks if there is something that needs to be done. Rajju mama says that he's called the lighting people and sometimes they don't answer the phone. He tells her that the lights haven't been strung yet. Runjhun is about to go take care of it but Guddu says he will come with them and have it looked at. He leaves with the mamas.
Mittho comes and tells Runjhun that her love is really blooming nowadays. Runjhun looks a little uncomfortable, and Mittho asks her if she's finished with her love fest then they can get some work done. Runjhun nods. Mittho tells Runjhun to get fruits from the market. Then she tells Runjhun that the breakfast hasn't been made yet. She tells Runjhun to make breakfast and teas first then she can go to the market to get the fruits and sweets too. Runjhun nods and gets to work.
Guddu is working outside, directing the guy with the lights. He walks up the ladder to fix the lights, and Runjhun walks out with tea to serve everyone. Guddu stops Runjhun from the top of the ladder. Runjhun asks him what he wants and he tells her he needs to talk to her. Runjhun says she doesn't have time and continues to serve tea.
Guddu gets down from the ladder and stops in front of Runjhun. He tells her that he's got a long list of shopping things that he has to bring. He asks her to come with her. He says he doesn't know what would be good and what not, so he needs her help. When Runjhun hesitates, he takes the tea tray from her hand and gives it to someone else to serve and says he's shopping for Mahadevi not for himself. He takes her hand ans says he needs her help, and makes her sit with him on his bike and drives off with her.
Billo and Mittho are painting their nails, later in the evening, and Billo comments that Mittho did a great job in giving Guddu the big list of things to fetch. She says she knew Guddu would take Runjhun with her. She says that they left int he morning and it's almost evening and they aren't back yet. She says when they come back they will be so tired and neither will have time for each other. Kalsanwali is walking up to the roof to where Billo and Mittho are. Guddu and Runjhun arrive from their shopping, and Kalsanwali rushes to announce to the others that Guddu and Runjhun have come. All three rush to see Guddu and Runjhun.
Runjhun gets off Guddu's bike, with his help, then tells him that he must be tired and asks him to freshen up, and tells him she will handle the rest. Guddu agrees and tells her that he will take go freshen up. He goes to leave but Runjhun stops him and tells him she wanted to tell him one more thing. When he asks her what she tells him Thanks. He smiles at her, and she smiles back, then heads in.
Mittho frowns and tells Kalasanwali that her plan to bury them under work to drive them apart didn't work. Kalsanwali says its not her fault and she and Mittho fight instead. Billo tries to pacify them both but Mittho and Kalsanwali walk away from each other leaving Billo alone.
Runjhun walks with some of the bags to Mahadevi's room. Mahadevi is looking at the card, and is distracted. Runjhun calls out to Mahadevi a couple of times before she responds. Runjhun asks Mahadevi where she is lost. Mahadevi doesn't say anything. Runjhun tells Mahadevi to get ready quickly and come down. Mahadevi barely responds, and again Runjhun wonders out loud about Mahadevi's distractions. She gives Mahadevi her clothes and tells her to hurry up then leaves to handle other things. Mahadevi's apprehension grows with each passing minute.
Rajju is outside and talking to some men falsely gloating that he did all the lighting and the work. Guddu walks up from behind and overhears Rajju taking credit for the work that he didn't do and smiles amused. He shakes his head and heads upstairs. The men applaud Rajju and he says he is like that only.
Inside the men, are singing. I think its Teelu who is dancing with Diamond and while the others clap and sing. Jabbo is missing. Mahadevi walks down dressed up, and notices the men in one corner. Then looks around and sees Amma on the other side. She hides by the stairs with and envelope in her hand. When she notices that her path is clear she heads towards the door, but Rajju comes with the women for the dhol and the music. He sees Mahadevi and asks her where she's headed in the night. Mahadevi says she wanted to hand over the card in her hand. Rajju takes it from her hand and says he will take care of it. The lady who has come to play the music and sing looks at Mahadevi and compliments her and walks up to her and says she is glad they got to see the bride. She takes Mahadevi with her.
Amma welcomes them all and says now that they are here, the ceremony can start. Mittho comes and says that today they should sing so that all of Kannauj can know that Mahadevi is getting married. One of the lady says that their voice will reach even further than the smell of Mittho's perfumes. She asks for Billo and Kalsanwali, who walk out all dressed up and the men whistle. They dance and the sangeet (music) begins. Amma tells them to wait for RUnjhun also, and goes to the kitchen and notices that Runjhun isn't ready yet. She tells Runjhun to go get ready and she will handle the food. Runjhun leaves.
Runjhun gets ready and is adjusting her jewelry when Guddu walks in and smiles. Runjhun notices him from the mirror and smiles back. He walks off to the window, then stares out and then looks back at Runjhun. He calls out word like unique, great and very beautiful. Runjhun pauses as she puts on her bangles. Runjhun says thanks. Guddu smiles mischievously and says she has nothing to say thank you for, and says that she is great like that. Runjhun is embarrassed and says it's not a big deal. Guddu tell her how can it not be a big deal, and says that this is what you call beauty in simplicity and simplicity in beauty. Runjhun tells him not to give out so many praises.
Guddu asks her why since he's telling the truth, he's not lying. He praises her again, and Runjhun tells him to go down and she will be down in a few minutes after she is ready. He says what idiot would go down when he can see the beauty from up here. Runjhun tells him to stop and says that someone will hear him. He says what is there, and tells her she can come and look for herself, and looks outside the window. Runjhun turns around and notices that Guddu is staring outside the window, as he mutters beautiful.
She walks up to him and looks miffed. She asks him who he was praising. Guddu says that he was praising the decorations, what else can he praise. He asks her if she thought he was praising her. Runjhun frowns and says she had no such notion. She's disappointed and turns away from Guddu, but he grabs her arm and stops her. He turns pulls her closer and leans in and asks her if she thinks he has that much free and useless time to praise the decorations. He tells her he was praising her, and tells her that she looks really beautiful today.
Runjhun smiles and Guddu smiles back.
Precap: Mahadevi is talking on the phone to a doctor, and Runjhun walks up to her room to fetch her and overhears her talking about her pregnancy. Runjhun opens the door, and Mahadevi sees Runjhun and is scared. Runjhun looks shocked and angry.
