It is night time in Pandey Niwas'.
Amma, Guddu and Runjhun are sitting in Amma's sitting room in Pandey Niwas and Runjhun happily mentions to Amma that Guddu found a place for them to live in a day and it is already decorated. It is really sweet with a kitchen and prayer area. She tells a happy Amma that their luck is also with them in that they thought about it today and they found the place today as well. Amma mentions that if she is with Guddu then her bhag is always with him and whatever he wishes will come true without asking. Runjhun looks over at Guddu who gets a serious look. Runjhun is puzzled and asks Amma what she means. Amma responds that Runjhun is very naive and does not understand things. Women are like Goddess Laxmi (the Goddess of wealth) and Runjhun is the Laxmi of Guddu's household. Hence if she stays with Guddu then all good things will follow. Runjhun is all smiles at Amma's words. She mentions to Amma that Guddu does not seem like the kind of person to depend on bhag alone. Whatever he has achieved to-date is done using his intellect and inner strength. Guddu has a smile on his face and tells them that don't praise him so sky high because too much praise spoils a person and he has no intention of spoiling things for himself. Amma says Guddu is not the kind to let this get to his head. She wants to know when they plan to leave. She thinks they should stay in Pandey Niwas overnight and to leave early next morning after breakfast and after getting blessings from all. Runjhun agrees that Amma is right and Guddu iterates that he knows Amma is always right.
The camera shifts to Billo who is evesdropping from the balcony above with a shocked look on her face. She utters that things were going so well for themselves with heaps of wealth for them and there were no worries, but now Bhagonwali is leaving and things will be so bad that wealth will trickle at the rate of a few drops at a time. She calls out Mittho's name and hastens out of there looking for her.
In their bedroom, Rajju is counting cash as Mittho is shown with Mahadevi looking for a pair of jhumka (dangling earrings) and bajubandh (upper arm bracelets) that seem to be missing. She turns around to ask Rajju if he forgot to pick them up from the jeweler's shop? Rajju (the perfect human specimen) says that he could never make such a mistake. Does she think he is that forgetful? Poetry he learned in school he still remembers and as he starts his recitation of the poetry to Mittho she gets annoyed at him and pulls him to the dresser and starts on her tirade about the missing jewelry. He goes to the bed where there is a tote that he brought back the jewelry in and notices that there is a hole in the bottom of the carryall. He is very upset. He accuses Mittho of giving him such a carryall to bring the jewelry home. Mittho starts wailing that they are robbed, they are ruined. What is happening to them? She claims he does not have practical sense. Rajju starts on his perfection and wonders how he is to know that the carryall had come undone at the bottom for things to fall out. Billo enters calling out to Mittho and Rajju shoos her away but she does an about turn again and announces that Runjhun is leaving tomorrow.
Mittho stands up on the bed shocked and gets at eye level with Billo. Billo mentions that Guddu the goon is now domesticated. He has rented a house and they are leaving in the morning. Mittho is wailing again. Mahadevi says that what is the big deal if Runjhun does not attend her wedding. Mittho turns to her and asks her not to use her brains much and asks her to do what she tells her to do. She whispers something in Mahadevi's ears.
The scene shifts to Runjhun's room and she is getting her things together. Mahadevi and Runjhun are talking about the bidaai and Runjhun explains that girls have to leave their parents home some day. Mahadevi says that a girl cannot leave like this. In 4 days her little sister (Mahadevi) is getting married. Runjhun is happy about leaving but why is she taking her anger at Mahadevi's parents out on Mahadevi? What is Mahadevi's fault in this? Runjhun reacts that there is no fault and no anger and that she and Mittho Mami have made their peace. Runjhun has no anger, no complaints. Mahadevi pouts and pushes further that if that is the case why is Runjhun leaving now? Maybe Runjhun does not consider Mahadevi as her younger sister. Runjhun has tears in her eyes as she says that she is very happy for Mahadevi and she has made so many arrangements for the wedding herself. In most cases a sister would come to the parent's house a month before the wedding to help with the preparations and a wedding without a sister's presence is very sad. And here is Runjhun leaving right before the wedding. Both are tearful that who will perform her pre-wedding rituals? She continues on the guilt trip about her parents missing at Runjhun's wedding rituals because they opposed the wedding, so now Runjhun is retaliating by doing the same. Runjhun tries to explain but Mahadevi (Mittho's mini me) says that if Runjhun leaves she will never talk to her ever again and runs out in tears from the room. Runjhun calls out to retreating Mahadevi. Runjhun is upset.
Rajju, Mittho and Billo are waiting anxiously downstairs as Mahadevi comes down the stairs. Rajju says that though Mahadevi looks like her mother (Gardes mutters under her breath - beautiful, gag!), she has inherited her brains from her father (Gardes again mutters a la Mittho - double gag!). Mittho mutters insults at Rajju under her breadth as she smiles and sends Mahadevi to her room. Mahadevi turns around and asks her Mom why she was asked to lie and Mittho says that this is beyond her and to leave. The trio are high-fiving.
Next morning'
Guddu comes out with his buddies carrying the luggage to be taken with them to the waiting rickshaws at the gates. Runjhun comes out in her bridal outfit (Gardes mutters - now this is called beautiful!) followed by Amma and the family. Guddu is seated in the rickshaw admiring her. Amma does rituals to ward of evils. Mittho says that Runjhun is their niece too and they have raised her from childhood like a daughter and can they participate too? Amma is in tears and sarcastically mentions that they have done so much until now, haven't they? But she relents and allows them by asking to hurry up, while the 2 other Mamis make faces. Tears flow all around (Gardes' too, she is a sucker for such things!) and Guddu looks on. Mittho does pooja for bidaii and then offers rice to Runjhun to throw behind her indicating that from this day on, she belongs to her sasural (in-laws) and has left behind all the ties that binds her to her parents' home. Mamis look on and Amma gives her permission to Runjhun to go to her own place now. Runjhun tearfully hugs her as Amma cries. She seeks blessings from her Mamis as they roll their eyes and say all the right things. Mittho gives her leave but reminds her to return for Mahadevi's wedding. Runjhun then seeks blessings from the Mamas who hug her too. Amma gets her to sit in the rickshaw and urges her to leave as girls are born to be sent away to their husbands' homes. Runjhun stops and revisits the conversation with Mahadevi as she looks over at Mahadevi. Amma urges and Guddu looks on as Runjhun suddenly says she cannot leave.
The Mamis are directing everyone for ice, salve, etc. for Runjhun and tend to her burns. Mittho mutters under her breath that she wishes she can put chili peppers on her feet instead of ice. Guddu and Amma walk in the living room and listen in on Mitthos lamenting about all the pending work that Runjhun could have done but now she is suffering from burns. Guddu does not look very happy about Mittho's lamenting. Runjhun reassures her Mami and Guddu intervenes. He assists Runjhun to go to their room. As he is walking he questions her why she does not understand that her M & Ms are out to get her. Runjhun is confused.
As they leave the area. Amma stands with her hands on her hip and looks at the M & Ms with disgust on her face. She approaches them and addresses the Mamis that just because Runjhun is naive and innocent, they are making a fool out of her and taking advantage of her. How long will they be able to stop her? With their talk and tears they may fool Runjhun but she wants to watch them to make a fool out of Guddu. Mittho pulls the other 2 Mamis and tell them that she is determined to break Runjhun and Guddu's marriage and that Runjhun belongs in Pandey Niwas only. She is going to teach her a lesson. As the Mamis leave, Amma addresses her sons and asks them to follow their wives, calling them names.
Guddu carefully walks Runjhun into their bedroom and makes her sit on the bed, making her comfortable. He asks her how she feels and she assures him that she is fine. He tells her that he listened to her by letting her stay. Now she has to listen to him too and take it easy . She argues about all the work in a house where there is a wedding shortly. He wants her to rest and let go of the anxiety about the work and he will do the work for her. She should take care of herself. He agrees that he will do it all and she should rest. She said as soon as the wedding is over she will go with him to his house. They both smile at that. He looks on at her with a smile.
Precap: Runjhun is directing the arrangements and bumps into Guddu. He steadies her. She stares at him and he asks why she is staring. He has showered, changed and is available. Runjhun continues to stare at him.
