Guddu holds out Runjhun's birth chart and asks Amma what is this. Amma says it is truly Runjhun's birthchart, but wonders how can it be possible because she herself put Runjhun's birth chart in the water and destroyed.
Guddu asks Amma why she lied. Amma says she didn't want to make Runjhun's life more worse than it already was. She didn't want Runjhun to be tortured anymore so she lied about it. Guddu retorts and says that there is no torture being doled out. Runjhun allows herself to be tortured. Guddu says that the talk about this birth chart is all false. It's all superstition, and he doesn't believe in all of this.
Amma says that what the birth chart says is true. She tells Guddu that Runjhun is fortunate. Guddu says another act, another drama has started now relating to Runjhun being the fortunate one. Amma says if you believe and have faith then it is God, otherwise for others it's just idols made of stone. She tells him that the birth chart is true and Runjhun is truly fortunate but in the eyes of the world it is also a curse. She says that she didn't want anyone to know, especially the mamas and mamis. She says if they know then know then they won't even allow Runjhun to get married.
Guddu thinks about the time Vishnu offered him the money for his mother's operation and asked him to break Runjhun's marriage as revenge. Amma continues, breaking into Guddu's thoughts and says that now they're only doing it for their own selfishness, but if they find out the truth, they will never let Runjhun go and make her life hell.
Amma asks Guddu where he got the birth chart. Guddu tells Amma from Kalsanwali. Amma is shocked. Amma wonders out loud, how Kalsanwali got the Kundli and Guddu says he doesn't know. He says that as soon as she comes, they hide the birth chart. Amma remembers Vishnu hiding something in his pocket. He says that Kalsanwali had also come here to destroy the birth chart, and he'd caught it. He tells her about overhearing the conversation between the mamas and mamis. Amma then understands why Guddu asked her about the birth chart last night. Guddu says that's why he came to her room last night to ask her. He overheard the evil talks of her son and daughter in laws. He says that didn't want Runjhun to go from the house. He says they want to spoil Runjhun's life and under no cost want her to leave, because apparently she's fortunate, because her birth chart says so. He shakes his head, still not believing it all. Amma is worried and says that how could they have found the birth chart.
Guddu says he doesn't know but all he knows is that they do not want Runjhun to leave at any cost. Amma is worried, and says now what will happen to Runjhun. She tells Guddu that for Runjhun the house is cage and for their own benefit the mamas and mamis will do anything.
Rajju tells Vishnu to think of something or their caged golden bird will fly away. Vishnu says he's thought about it but he doesn't know what way to stop Amma and Guddu from communicating. He says he's going to trap Guddu in such a way that he will forget all of his fearlessness.
Amma asks Guddu to do something. She tells him that he is her only hope, otherwise, Runjhun's fortune will become her curse. Guddu says Amma is stuck on this fortune thing. Amma says he's read the birth chart. Guddu says that these birth charts are made in cheap in the market, if she wants he can have hers made too that says she is the fortunate one. Amma shakes her head. Guddu says he doesn't believe in all of this. He tells Amma if Runjhun birth chart is so fortunate then how did she get married to a thug like him. Amma looks at Guddu. (Guddu marrying Runjhun was the biggest fortune for both of them if only they could see)
Runjhun goes to shop and Jabbo, T.P. and Teelu are cleaning up. T.P. (I think it's either him or Teelu) offers Runjhun a seat. Runjhun asks them where Guddu is. Jabbo says that he doesn't know where Guddu is but he's sure wherever he is, he's probably trying to forget the insult she and her family placed on them yesterday. Runjhun says she admits that she's at fault, and she didn't want to hurt anyone. Jabbo says he doesn't care about what her intentions were, and tells her that it is better she leaves. He says that between them there's only three days left and she and Guddu will be free of any relationship. Runjhun asks Jabbo that she wants to know where Guddu is. Jabbo tells her that it is best if she doesn't. He tells her to leave them alone, and tells her he doesn't want to hurt her feeling but if she still wants to know, then he should tell her that Guddu doesn't want to talk to Runjhun at all, in fact he doesn't want to even see her face. Runjhun is hurt.
Amma says that Guddu might believe it or not but if it wasn't for Runjhun, Rajju's and Vishnu work wouldn't have blossomed. She says that Buntu would never have got married to Billo if it wasn't for Runjhun's fortune. She says she doesn't need to go all the way back. She tells him to think of his mother, who was so ill but got well when Runjhun went to meet her. Then she tells him about his business even though people were against him, it found success. The she says that even though he was really badly hurt and could have died, but he came back safe and sound with only mere scratches. She says that is why she's requesting him to save Runjhun from her aunts and uncles.
Guddu says it is true that Runjhun made his mother well as soon as she touched her, but if he believes Runjhun is fortunate then it will be foolish of him. He says he doesn't understand what to do.
Runjhun is drying clothes on the terrace and looks at the Hanuman shrine. She says that no one can know what will happen next, and what we wish for sometimes never happens (is that a message?) She says she's not worried about herself, but Amma will be hurt since she's been weaving her dreams on what she thought was Runjhun's happiness. She wonders about Amma's feelings and Guddu comes back with Amma sitting on the back of his bike.
Buntu notices Amma with Guddu from his shop and Runjhun looks too, curious. Amma gets down near her house, and tells Guddu to think about what she said. She tells him that he can treat Runjhun any way he wants to, it is his right, but the mamas and mamis have no right on her. She tells him that Runjhun has no one besides him. She says that she still thinks that Guddu and Runjhun should create their own lives away from this house. Guddu tells Amma that he needs to think about it, and can't say anything now. He says that he and she both know that Runjhun did play a trick on him by challenging him. He says he needs to think about it and drives off, but not before his eyes wander to the terrace and he spots Runjhun. They both share glances before Guddu turns his eyes back on the road and leaves. Runjhun then rushes down and asks Amma where she'd gone.
Inside, Vishnu runs in and tells the three mamis that Buntu called and told him that he just saw Amma coming home riding on the back of Guddu's bike. All of them are worried that Guddu must have found out the entire truth about Runjhun's birth chart, and even Amma must now know their truth. Kalsanwali says that they have to think of something otherwise Guddu and Amma together will work against them. Vishnu tells Kalsanwali that she doesn't know a thing about politics even though her father is supposedly a political figure. He tells her that one thing is for sure. He says that they have to plan something quickly otherwise all of them will be hanged till death.
Outside, Runjhun asks Amma what Guddu said. She asks Amma if Guddu is still mad at her. She says that she made some food, and was worried about if he'd like to eat. Amma says that she didn't get a chance to ask him about if he would eat or not. She says that Guddu is smart and when he feels hungry he will eat something. She tells Runjhun not to worry. She says that in a married life, fights are inevitable. Runjhun says that the few days have made her mind uneasy though. She doesn't know if the thread that binds this relationship will break or not. She says she doesn't know what will come of this relationship and says that she has not faith of the fortune in her life. Amma tells Runjhun not to talk like that as it is inauspicious. She tells her that God has said that if you do the action the results will follow. She refers the Sati Anusuya the devout wife of Atri from Hindu culture and says that tin her fight for the truth even the three gods (Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva) has to bend. She then says that even Sati Savitri fought to save her husbands honor. She says that actions are followed by results and tells Runjhun that the Vat Savitri Vrat (A fast that wives do to pray for their husband's good fortune) prayers will be held, and asks Runjhun to observe the fast. Runjhun agrees and Amma blesses her and goes inside. Runjhun looks at the shrine and holds her palms together and thanks God for taking away her mind's biggest worry.

He says he is usually a good judge of character but he can't tell where Runjhun stands. He can't tell if she is straight or just really good at playing tricks. He says that he can't place her at all. He says that he's trouble her before marriage, after marriage. He's given her so many troubles but she didn't even utter a word or a complaint, not even a sigh. She's taken care of him, she's taken care of his mother, and because of her, his Amma is well. He says she even told Dinanath that she was happy even though she knew he was betraying her. He says his legs were broken, and his hands too, yet she nursed him back to health. He says she thought him how to do business and talk properly with the customers. He didn't know all of this, but she taught him. He says on one side he sees all her goodness.
The other side he can't help but wonder that if she didn't tell the mamas and mamis then how did they find out the truth. He asks God to tell him how to remove the doubts from his head. He says that on the other hand when he thinks of all the good things she's done for him all he sees is that she did it for her Amma, not for him. He says she never did anything for him, but only as a means to keep her Amma happy. He says that there are two days left. He says in those two days he will celebrate his freedom.
Behind him Runjhun walks into the temple, facing the other direction, as Guddu contemplates.

The vermillion from her plate goes flying and as Runjhun looks, it is saved by Guddu. The vermillion stains his hand red as he catches it. Guddu looks at Runjhun and she looks at him. He asks her if she is ready. He says that today is her farewell from her maternal home, and tonight he will take her away from her house.
(Whew today was so many powerful dialogues, I tried to retain the originality of it all, and if I made any mistakes in the Hindu Religion references I apologize. I'm not a Hindu and my knowledge only comes from what little I know from my other side of the family)
